  1. It was removed from the store because it pirated assets owned by someone else. As far as I'm concerned, people can make games about whatever they want, no matter how tasteless. There's even a game out there that lets you assassinate Kennedy. So what? I agree.
  2. You're a liar. Charles does not have fingers. He has a direct neural interface.
  3. One of the greatest pilots who ever lived, and yet almost no one knows his name.
  4. At night, in low visibility, I did manage an ambush with a flame team that caused about seven casualties in about two seconds. The flame team did not survive the encounter. Honestly, I think the largest effect it has the morale effect on the enemy player. If they expect to face flame teams, they're looking for a threat where one may not exist.
  5. If you look in the equipment of the unit itself, do they have a radio? Just because they're dismounted doesn't mean they don't also have a hand-held radio set. AFAIK, the only time you can actually use a vehicle mounted radio is while you are embarked in the vehicle.
  6. I just wish the NormalDude would come back. His uniform mods are quite simply the best there is. I hope he's alright.
  7. Bah, the only questions I have are, "How much money do you want," and "When do you want it?"
  8. Is that it? Geez. I get these warm fuzzies when I'm around here.
  9. Our coverage of Casa d'Antonio continues as I react with my reserve platoon. Some assumptions are made about enemy strength, and I begin to use my "spend bullets to avoid casualties" philosophy.
  10. To be honest, that was back in game engine version 1. Some lessons don't ever get "un-forgotten" though. EDIT: The presence of trees or other obscurants partially blocking LOS, but not LOF was the contributing factor to the previous observation. I learned quite a few lessons as a result of that earlier experience:
  11. I have had shockingly bad experiences using machineguns in the deployed role inside buildings. See my AAR against John Kettler. (Warning, photobucket debacle.) Trying to get a deployed machinegun to fire on a target led to the gunner rotating, undeploying, moving, then deploying again, all while an entire company of infantry casually strolled past his Line of Sight. By the time he was set up to fire again, the opportunity was lost. Yes, deploy and pack up are different. But if you are deployed in one direction, then try to deploy in another direction, you pack up for 14 seconds, then spend 2.3 minutes deploying again. In my opinion, it is far better to remain semi-deployed at all times, unless you are planning to use the building as a semi-permanent position, or you absolutely need the elevation provided.
  12. Wow. I've put in about ten hours myself, and I'm only 35 minutes into the scenario. Clear difference in play style on display...
