Hmmmmmm, I've never had a problem with DL's from Tom's HQ and I've never tweaked any settings. I think it may be the browser, mine...Netscape 4.7. Rgds, KC

================================================== Mark, I play this CMBB sim/game almost exclusivly as the Germans and I've got to tell you that many, many I times have screamed *this is ffinn' BS* when ever a T-34 drops a halftrack, that's racing across the screen at fast move, from 1200m with his first shot. And yet my crack Panther cannot hit said T-34 from 1500m with 5 rounds!! I guess CMBB is a game, one that does its best to model everything(and does an A-1 job IMHO), but at times the *other* guy just seems to be soooo much better.......to quote another poster,"even at tieing its shoes" or something like that. I am glad to hear though that those damned Ruskies curse their luck(troops) almost as much as I curse my seemingly inept Krauts!! Rgds, KC

A simple question. How is possible that the AI troops who are located in a building be so determined/brave, call it what you will. While the building has just been demolished by a Panther from 240 meters, there are no less than 3 halftracks within 120 meters, all targeting these troops and the AI can still fire back and take out a squad of recon located in sheltered trees 40-50 meters away. These guys are tough!! I'm sure that if it was my fat ass in that building and a Panther was blasting away from point blank range that I'd be heading for the hills ASAP with ears ringing loudly and in severe shell shock!!. I'm aware that rubble does provide decent cover, but...c'mon the bloody building has just been blown all to hell from 240 meters!! Sure wish my guys could be this good. the befuddled, KC

-------------------------------------------------- Oh oh, I've got a MSI GeF3 Ti-4200 Pro w/128Mb., and tried rhe anti-aliasing thing. With the setting at 4X I got 3/4 of a screen(the rest black), at 2X I got 1/2 a screen the rest black. I thought I was o'k at "let program decide", and it is playing fine, but now I find out it could be better.......now to figure how to do the *swap out* driver thing. :eek: KC

Has anyone actually shot one of these buggers down in CMBB/CMBO. I've had no luck playing from either side.....ever!! I find them(the other guys) deadly in CMBB. KC

I use; *no reverb*, EAX setting-none or lite, default speaker sound settings. I like this just fine. I bought the Audigy because it has lower CP utilization, not for its true purpose. Rgds, KC
