You can buy air support, but, you cannot control it. If you do a search you'll find lots of P.O'd people who've had their planes attack their troops, tanks etc. Air support is randem and never works as effectively as your opponents!! KC

To be honest, I don't swap out mods that often and I'm more than happy with the mods provided to date outside CMMOS. In fact just about everyone I've seen to date, within CMMOS and outside, I like. I'm sticking with what I know, call me old school!! KC

Surgical, To disable EAX, useing Win 98, and I've kicked it off my taskbar, so I have to: Start/settings/control panel/AudioHQ/EAXcontrolpanel/EAXgames/disable follow these steps, it's done Luck KC

I've followed the majority of these so called whinge threads and have commented in a few so I will not take to much space here. How about a toggle switch with different levels of difficulty? Some settings that come to mind are; elite(realistic as hell), veterans(for those of us that are not elite), green(doh) or I'm sure someone has a better idea as to names. This *toggle switch* seems to me an acceptable compromise. Not everyone is comfortable with the settings as they exist, BTS has commited to some tweaking with the patch.....perhaps in CM3 the elites would not need to compromise, the veterans could become elites, and the greens, well their learning curve would be more gentle and the dropout rate may shrink. KC PS. for the spelling and grammer grogs, if there are any errors, sorry....my secratary does my proofing and she ain't here.

Hi, As I understand it CM(both) are very cpu dependant, but your definately headed in the right direction. One thing though, turn off the EAX in the Audigy, I've found no difference im CM, it's great for some games (Dungeon Siege comes to mind) but of little value(if any) here! Those changes will help for sure!! KC
