  4. Yeah, as did they all. As I understand it he had been wounded(shot through the shoulder) on the 10th, it had been field dressed, but, his commanding officer could not get replacements nor evac the wounded, soooo....they fought on. Hard for me to even imagine! (sidenote) I once asked my father why the 2 of them volunteered, thinking I'd get a very brave patriotic answer. His reply, with a shrug, was "It was the only job we could find". Hellishly poor reason to die, don't you think? My e-mail, roadking@accesswave.ca What exactly are you looking for, there are some letters, pics(I'm not sure of what) and other memorabilia, I'll do what I can to help. KC
  5. You mean this coffin? What was his name? Was he Black Watch or Calgary Highlanders?</font>
  6. TB, Run a search in Combat Mission "Tips and Tricks", you'll find a wealth of information. KC
  7. Lest we forget! I salute all those who fought for, fight for, and who have died while defending FREEDOM. My uncle died in *the coffin* in Holland Oct. 26/44, he was 19. My father served in Europe from '43 to '46 with the Canadian Engineers. My hats off to all. Krazy Canuck, a very proud Canadian

  9. O'k, let's start over. What OS are you running, Windows?...95,98... I think I see that your running a GeForce2 Ti something, can you be more specific? With the resolution issue, which resolution are you running, sounds like your running to low. KC
  10. I got the same reply!! My G3 Ti300 is running flawlessly in Win98SE and the 30.82 drivers(get them!). I've decided that I'm gonna quit trying to fix that which is working fine! KC
  11. I got the same reply!! My G3 Ti300 is running flawlessly in Win98SE and the 30.82 drivers(get them!). I've decided that I'm gonna quit trying to fix that which is working fine! KC
  12. Since DLing I find the game not working at all, guess we need another one to make the first one work?....hmmmmm, or maybe this one triggers the second one? Whatever, 'cause my game sure hasn't improved, I still suck KC
  13. I'm running G3 Ti200w/128, 30.82 driver, has anyone with similar config. upgraded? If so, is it worth it? Btw. the 30.82's are working flawlessly for me. Tia, KC
  14. Yes, for both. It actually would be black smoke. Once the engine was running at a *constant* rpm this exhuast would go away. As hydraulics saw very little use in those days, I expect that there was a constant rev up/down to allow for mechanical engage/disengage for travel, turret rotation etc. This would make these tanks easy targets for planes, recon etc. Btw, to include this in CMBO/CMBB would, in my opinion, detract from the game, sorta like your sneaking squad falling into a latrine....to much realism! KC
  15. My MSI GeForce3 Ti200 128mb card runs/supports 4xAA nicely with the 30.82 drivers, very smooooth!! gotta like it KC
  16. Here in southern Canada(hungh, yeah sure!), 0 to -10 is the typical winter temps., and yes everything is frozen. At -30, well, even the brass monkey *stays inside* one of the hibernating Canadians, KC
