Not 100% sure either way right now to be honest. WWI fixes are our top priority and if the WW2 add-on makes it in time for the first patch then it will be included, if not then shortly thereafter sort of thing. -

Hi Jail Bird, there is no such information as the game units are abstracted to a simple strength value from 0-10 plus any strength points due to experience levels gained. Hope this helps, Hubert -

Thanks for the feedback Karhu and all I can say for now is that it would be a tough call on any changes (just yet) as some have felt that it is already too expensive and too limiting relative to previous games. At the current costs I would imagine that if there were that many landings in your game some other aspect of your opponent's war machine was likely to be lacking... but either way we'll keep an eye on this and make any adjustments as needed.

Hi Tiresias, Glad to hear you are enjoying the game and to answer your question, each country has a Mobilization Value that reflects their current political leaning towards any particular side. Once it reaches 100% they are considered fully mobilized and can then declare war and in effect become 'belligerent' with another nation. To determine the mobilization status or 'value' this can be seen in several places, if you hover the mouse over the little Major flags at the bottom right panel of the game play area it will show a % next to the country name, also right below the flags in the chart you will see the mobilization % value shown there as well. Once a nation is fully mobilized, if you navigate to the War Map you can see the %s there as well as the leanings, i.e. either leaning Central Powers or Entente. From there you can select who you wish to declare war against as well. In the case of Russia, I can see that there might be some confusion there as Russia is fully mobilized percentage wise, i.e. they start at 100% mobilization, but the popups do use the word 'mobilize' to describe the various arrivals of new units to the front. These are actually two separate things and not mean to imply that Russia is not yet at war. Hopefully this helps, Hubert

Problem regarding Hotfix

This is correct, the hotifix number on the website at the moment does not match the ingame version number which is still v1.00... this will all be sorted out of course once we have the v1.01 patch ready. -
Sharkman, if you look at the upper left hand corner of the game screen, i.e. once you've selected a unit, it will show your movement costs for any reachable tile... including those that are currently occupied by your own friendly units. Hope this helps, Hubert

For some of the attacks this might have to do with the scripting of the objectives which I have improved for the first patch and sometimes units that initially appear to be reachable by other AI units are actually out of range due to adjacent unit penalties or weather like mud for example. Not saying it is always the case but this is an issue from time to time that is not easily seen during the AI turn. Either way I suspect the next build will be a significant improvement and if you can send me your saved turn that would be great, send to support@furysoftware.com Thanks, Hubert

Hi Amadeus, Unfortunately I'd have to see your mod to know for sure, probably something wrong with the campaign or bitmaps etc., but difficult to say from the error message provided. Thanks for the suggestion and I'll have to think about it as I fear there might be confusion if players think they can move to a highlighted tile... in the meantime, once you click on a unit to move, if you look at the upper left hand corner of the game you'll notice text that will say 'Movement Cost = 1' and so on and this will let you know if you can reach a tile that is otherwise currently occupied by another unit. Hi Al, Huhr, There is a hotfix, v1.00.2 that can be found here that will help you adjust the settings more intuitively, i.e. you won't need to change your desktop settings. It can be found under the Strategic Command WWI category: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_versions&Itemid=317 My guess is that some of the latest video cards unfortunately do not support 2D drawing modes that well and I would suggest trying to download the latest video card driver to see if that helps. With the hotfix what you can do is select a lower resolution and/or try running the game in 'Full Screen' mode to see if that helps. This can be done in game via the SETTINGS dialog. Game should run fine on all systems including Windows 7, just that we noticed that on some Windows 7 systems running the Aero desktop theme the game would sometimes not gain focus at launch. This seems to be a very rare issue and is not related to what you have described here. Additionally since the map is much larger it may run a bit slower on some systems but really this should not be as noticeable on higher end computers so when you mention that the game runs smoother at a lower resolution my guess is that it is more video card related. Hi Worg64, Thanks again for the feedback and regarding the AI I can confirm that what you've noted is pretty much only an issue while playing in the 'Quick AI' mode. I've made some adjustments to improve this for the first patch, but if you play again with 'Quick AI' mode disabled you should notice a significant improvement in AI attacks and targetting of wounded units etc. Hope this helps, Hubert

For now yes as there are events that can be represented by having them at least listed as countries, i.e. popups and we haven't decided yet if there will be extra majors or not for the European Theater. If there will be then they would of course be bumped from these spots so nothing is really official just yet. -

SeaMonkey, It is still a little early as I haven't really had a chance yet to get back to the WWII campaign full time but you are definitely right regarding the cutting edge blitzkrieg maneuvering for the grand strategy scale -
