How does one transfer original map?
Hubert Cater replied to dalt's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
I think what you are looking for is the 'Import/Export' of data function. This can be found under File->Import Data, File->Export Data. So if I am understanding this correctly, you had one custom campaign where you modified the data and you now want this data imported to the original map. If this is the case, then you open your original custom campaign and export all the applicable custom data that you want to now include with the second custom campaign created that has the original map. Hopefully this makes sense/helps and if not let us know and we can try and guide you further, Hubert -
In case you've missed it we will be releasing a free WWII campaign add-on the Strategic Command WWI The Great War game based on the map and scale of the WWI release. Here is a quick link and overview of the up coming release: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1888&Itemid=1 Here is a screenshot of Soviet forces nearing Berlin as well as one of US forces in North Africa fighting near the Kasserine Pass which should give you a pretty good idea of the scale: http://www.battlefront.com/images/stories/SC2/WW1/1939_Storm_over_Europe/lg/berlin.jpg http://www.battlefront.com/images/stories/SC2/WW1/1939_Storm_over_Europe/lg/tunisia.jpg This will be our most comprehensive and detailed European Theater release to date Hubert

Storm over Europe
Hubert Cater replied to keano16's topic in Strategic Command - World War 1: The Great War 1914-1918
Hi Keano16, Thanks for your interest and here are some thoughts on your questions. 1) It is not finalized yet but this is likely as I think we have this flexibility with the recent TERRITORY script changes. 2) At the moment it is the same as the thinking is to maintain some maneuverability due to the scale of the map but really this only provides an extra tile due to the addtional hills and desert terrain south of El Alamein. 3) Right now these are not in the works but I think both could be scripted if desired as a mod etc. Hubert -
How does one transfer original map?
Hubert Cater replied to dalt's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Hi Dalt, Can you be more specific, are you referring to having edited some of the bitmaps and want to put it all together in a new campaign, or are you talking just about map edits? If it is the latter, can you be more specific as to what you have done so I can have a better idea on what you might need etc. Thanks, Hubert -
Thanks for the update Sandy and I never realized it was an exact copy of your earlier post, I actually thought it was a second player with a similar problem hitting the panic button and cross posting... now I see why they were banned and why Bill raised a few questions about the poster to me yesterday. I blame Monday mornings for that

43 to 71 is possible as that is less than a maximum 30% jump in a single turn, i.e. 7-10 + 15-20 would be a minimum jump of 7% to a maximum of 30%. -
I like the idea of doing this as well, just a matter of time and resources on my end really.

Chinese Capitals?
Hubert Cater replied to The Rusty Gear's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
The alternate capitals are Lanchow and Urumchi and once a capital falls it will not move back. Hope this helps! -
Partisans, Supply and Garrisons
Hubert Cater replied to Catacol Highlander's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Hi Catacol, Not sure without seeing the turn in action. If you can, send me a turn and the locations in question where the partisan activity is occurring and I'll be glad to take a look. support@furysoftware.com Hubert -
Hi Cantona66, If it worked in previous versions it should work the same with the WWI engine as I have it working this way for the WWII mod we are working on. Is the trigger perhaps not 100% or could there be something else delaying the DECISION event from firing? wlape3, off hand I don't remember the discussion but I can confirm that Vichy creation is indeed handled by script as it is a function of the DECISION event firing followed by the SURRENDER_1 events etc.

Question On Minors
Hubert Cater replied to wlape3's topic in Strategic Command - World War 1: The Great War 1914-1918
This is still something that has to be scripted by the creator of the campaign as it gives you full control this way, i.e. to Garrison or not etc.
