  1. Yes that was an issue we discovered with the Diplomacy thread started by Eisenhammer but what I will do is lift the #ALIGNMENT check if the country is still Neutral at the time when the WAR ENTRY is set to fire or not. Hopefully this will resolve the issue for you as right now the value in the #ALIGNMENT field must match the current alignment of the #COUNTRY_ID as this will help us solve other issues in game.
  2. Oops, sorry about that gentlemen and I think the easiest is to simply change it back.
  3. Hi Mike, No real easy way to merge the changes other than to do what you have suggested which is to take the lesser path for each change. So for example, if it is easier to import the terrain changes from the latest patch and then re-apply your changes that might be the way to go if you have less changes then what we have done for the patch. Changing layers will not prevent any imports, but of course if you import over your changes then the changes will be lost. Hope this helps, Hubert
  4. Hi Amona, Please do send me the saved turn where I can repeat this, thanks Hubert
  5. Thanks Strategiclayabout, this is now fixed as well
  6. Thanks Eisenhammer, not sure why we had positions that would damage Japanese units in there but this is now removed and fixed for the next patch.
  7. The transfer should be as quick as the ones that you described in the Eastern Pacific, however the arrival spot is for Edmonton... perhaps that is the issue if it immediately sends it back but you should have a turn to move it from position there. Hubert
  8. Thanks Bertram and I tried both and just re-downloaded the patch and it still seems to work as expected. I wonder if something residual in the 'Compatibility Files' folder is interfering with the v1.02 update. Could you try navigating to your installation folder and then deleting anything found in the 'Compatibility Files' folder for the AoC installation. Here is more info on this: http://www.hanselman.com/blog/VistasShowCompatibilityFilesAndTheScrumptiousWonderThatIsFileVirtualization.aspx After you do this, could you try installing v1.02 again and let me know if it is still an issue? Hubert
  9. We added a check to ensure that the country listed in the event, so let's say Yugoslavia in the first event, matched the alignment set in the #ALIGNMENT entry... if not it would no longer fire. Could this be the possible reason why it is no longer working?
  10. As far as I remember convoy scripts don't make use of the loop placement points... rather you just need to specify a map edge along one route, and then the next path point for the convoy should be another map edge for the next route. Hope this helps Hubert
  11. Just to confirm with Al here, I've tried the latest campaigns under v1.02, even without the hotfix, and the AI seemed to perform as expected offensively. If you have a chance to update to v1.02 from the patch download area found here and confirm that it is working as expected that would be great as we can then cross it off of our list http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=306&Itemid=535 Hubert
  12. Hi Bertram, Unfortunately no, you'll have to start a new game with the fixed campaigns in order to take advantage of any changes as they won't be applied to a game in progress. Hubert
  13. Hi Kommandant, Sorry to hear about the trouble... could you tell me which 3 tiles these are? Even a screenshot will help me to narrow it down and fix this. Thanks! Hubert
  14. Hi Tom, If it is a full German retail version then you'll need the english localization.txt file for the game or a translation of each localization.txt entry. Hope this helps, Hubert
  15. Apologies for the delay everyone but the good news is that the final version for the patch has now been submitted and waiting for approval... shouldn't be long now at all
  16. Can you navigate to your installation folder and check for a button in the Windows Explorer that is labelled as 'Compatibility Files' and click on it and then delete any files found in there such as the SC2.ini file. This should resolve it for you and for more info here is a link explaining the 'Compatibility Files' under Windows. http://www.hanselman.com/blog/VistasShowCompatibilityFilesAndTheScrumptiousWonderThatIsFileVirtualization.aspx After that you could try a full uninstall, then reinstall and immediate application of the patch to see if that helps as well. Hubert
  17. Thanks Mike and I've fixed this for the next patch.
  18. Hi Templer, Sorry to hear about the trouble and if you download the latest patch for WWI it should resolve the issue for you. Hubert
  19. Hey everyone, I just wanted to quickly pop in and confirm that SC3 will be published by Matrix/Slitherine and that once proper forums are set up over there that the discussion should naturally move there as well. We will also continue to support existing SC games here at Battlefront and I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and interest in our products Hubert
  20. Between AoD and GOLD it unfortunately won't work as expected as there is just too much data that has changed at the unit data level... but some items might work such as text layers, or the tile layer etc. Usually between different releases you will have limitations on what can be imported from an older release, but from within similar versions this is not much of an issue if at all.
  21. Hi Mike, We'll hopefully have all the details of the changes included, sometimes a few get missed being mentioned, but one thought is to simply export the text layer as well as the symbol layer (if applicable) from your current map and then import them to the new patched map. At that point you can apply your LOOP.txt script file as well and perhaps that will do the trick and save you some time and effort? Hubert
  22. I'll do this acrashb as I can see this being an issue on some screen resolutions.
  23. The patch should not have any effect on mods as they are just mostly Editor, Game and campaign fixes.
