  1. I can't even wait one more minute!!!
  2. Also noticed the same thing with the high bocage after updating CMBN. Something is definitely off. It seemed even worse with the 2.11 patch and then with 2.12 coming right on it's heels I thought maybe some bug came through and that's what 2.12 was fixing. While better than 2.11 I'm still noticing the weird wall and bocage behavior.
  3. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! OMG I'm such an Ostfront junky that once this comes out I'll be super hard pressed to ever play anything else. Well, that not including the Black Sea game. Between the two I think my world will be complete.
  4. I know this is completely off topic but I just had to bring it up anyway. I'm a high school teacher and have been talking about the Space Lobsters of Doom for years. The kids always look at me cross-eyed and have no idea what I'm talking about but they do know about the Lobsters. It's a complete inside joke and completely hilarious to me on what it has become to them. I've even had kids draw me pictures of the Space Lobsters of Doom. It's so excellent. Anyway, back to topic... Seriously looking forward to the modern re-boot as well as the Eastern Front.
  5. Wow, super excellent!!! Looking forward to these for sure!!
  6. Does anyone know if there is a good multicam uniform mod out there? The only one I found in the repository is one that is for the 1/75 Rangers and for some reason when I use it only half my troops wind up in multicam while the rest are in ACU. Thanks in advance!
  7. If I may ask, where was this announced or new info on the new game given?? Am I just completely blind??
  8. What uniform mod is that??? On a side note, what grass mod is that????
  9. Absolutely LOVED the Aubrey/Maturin books. Just the relationship between the two of them was fantastic. When I was finishing them I really didn't want them to end. It was like I was going to lose two great friends. I remember the fireworks black powder too, great stuff! Those books stand very high on my lists of all time favorites.
  10. Thirded. I actually think it's my favorite of the bunch too and I do wish there was more community support/life. I just love the theater, the forces, the weapons and the ambience. Like what was said, it's just a really fun time period and atmosphere to play in. I wish more would get into it as there is so much potential here. If only I had time to learn how to make maps and scenarios. I think the possibilities for the long time period and OOBs is endless.
  11. I freakin loved that game. In fact I think I still have the disc. I'm going to have to dig it out.
  12. 42, going to be 43 next month. I've been hooked on and playing these games since the beginning as my forum join date shows. I don't post tons over all that time but have been part of and reading the boards forever. I've also been lucky in that I live close to our very own Rune and have been able to take part in many of the sneak peeks as they have come and gone going way back. I actually got to sneak peek CMBB before release as I was already way deep into CMBO back then. I'm one of the lucky ones that also got a sneak peek at CMBN before release too. Good times. So yeah, been around awhile. I'm a huge wargamer, computer and table top. Love the CW era too. Also was an old school pen and paper role playing gamer.
  13. Honestly I think CMA has a few features that SF doesn't as it was a later release. The one I know for sure is that tanks can drive through walls and knock them down which wasn't the case for SF. I'm sure there are others.
  14. Way cool. Please keep making them!! I love CMA and wish there was tons more interest in the theater. I'm always happy to play new ones.
  15. YES!! Dl'ing now!! Thanks so much and totally looking forward to a new campaign!!
  16. Grrrrrr! I do believe my glorious Soviet Heros gave you a bit of payback in the one following. :D
  17. Really impressive and powerful. Thank you very much for posting these.
  18. Ha! Yeah, sorry about turns but as you can see I WAS busy this weekend! In response to your above post as well as the other mentioning drums, the military M1 version wasn't able to take drum magazines. The only thing that works with mine is stick mags. If I wanted to be really authentic I'd only use 20 round sticks but all I have are 30 rounders. The drums are kinda cool but ammo is expensive enough for .45acp. I even reload my own to bring the cost down a bit but they are still expensive. Believe me, you can really get to spitting them out fast with this little honey. It's hard to resist pulling them as quick as you can. Now, if we really wanted to talk about spitting out rounds fast from drum magazines, that's when I'd break out this little bit of kit in my collection. Yugo M72 RPK with 75 round drum mags. Oh yeah. Granted it's not WWII but goes good with a hint of CMA. Hehehe...
  19. Thought I would share this for my fellow WWII weapon enthusiasts. I've had my Auto-Ordnance M1 Thompson .45acp since the late 90s. I had always liked them and wanted one since I was a kid and then when I got older I finally acquired one, semi-auto of course since the real full autos are much harder to get both legally and monetarily. It's been one of my prize possessions, despite it's incorrect profile, but it ALWAYS looked wrong to me with the goofy 16" barrel instead of the WWII style 10.5". It just really needed a face lift, however, it's much easier said than done with the legal paperwork of such a project then the actual "doing" of it. Here's a "Before" pic... I applied for the ATF tax stamp back in March (legally allows me to shorten the barrel) and it took a long six months to finally get it. Once I had that in my hands I had to wait to find a weekend to get down to my buddy's house as he is a completely competant gunsmith in his own right and he wanted to help me do the work, but finding the right weekend with real life and all just took a bit. Well we got to working on it this weekend and this is the final product of our labor. I completely LOVE it now. It looks amazing and finally looks the way it's supposed to. It's really like having a whole new gun. I hope you all like it. There is just something iconic and amazing about the old Tommy gun.
  20. This makes me extremely happy! I have really been enjoying this campaign as well and I'm just so glad that you are making more for CMA. It's such a great game and theater and it's completely overlooked IMO.
  21. I'm on the third mission and really have to say how much I'm enjoying it too! Great job and please make more!!
  22. Honestly, and this said as a long time owner and shooter of many vintage WWII weapons, there isn't much difference in the report of a k98, 03 Springfield, Mosin Nagant, British Enfield or Italian Carcano for that matter. They are all bolt action weapons firing VERY similiar rifle cartridges.
  23. That's awesome! Good luck to you. I've toyed with the idea of teaching English in Asia, preferably Japan but never did go through with it. I hope your experience is amazing.
