Canuck replied to Tactical Wargamer's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Come on guys!!! We still havent caught up to the Down Under thread yet! There are tons of disgruntled Canadians I'm sure -

Hmmm sounds like some people are getting hit with a big cash payment and some not. I guess it's a crapshoot. -
Just bought the german CDV-version...

Do the anti-Nazi laws apply to games sold in Hell? -

AHhhhh!!!! What happened to the "gift" and 5$ value that was being put onto packages to canada??? Was that just a horrible rumour to get my hopes up If 2 copies is 25 bucks then I assume 1 copy would be around 12 dollars -
Great new idea. . . . seriously.

Oh he's mocking you allright!! Just look at his member # and look at yours. He's confident and smug in his superiority... -
Can you give us a hint about what you would like to include in the engine rewrite? The ability to give the same set of units a little variation perhaps? So instead of having 5 of the exact same kind of Shermans in a battle they could all have their little quirks to distinguish them. I think that would be great

lol I think he meant pallisades. You know, those walls of sharpened posts that we have running around our houses to keep out the natives -
I'm not sure if BTS realized the modding potential of CM when they first introduced the game but I'm sure they're well aware of it now How have things changed to make modding easier and to increase the scope of modding. For instance, all different armies from within the same country (ie Heer & SS) can have their own helmet BMP right? How else has the modding potential been expanded?

what's this about being charged 15 bucks for duty & GST?? I thought BTS was putting "gift" and a value of $5 on the packages. Or was that just my wishful thinking? -
just a question Is there more variety in the style and types of buildings in CMBB than there was in CMBO?

The Communists get CMBB!

Griffen I decided to check your website out just for a lark and this is what I got LOL nice to see your webserver has a sense of humour -
*bump* I'm interested if the sounds from a "twitch" game are used with the groggy CM game. (BTW DoD is an amazing multiplay game, it may be twitch but at least it isnt the mindless,Counterstrike kind of twitch. This game takes teamplay and when that's achieved it's amazingly satisfying)

Infantry Texture Observations - for MODers
Canuck replied to kump's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
why don't you do a test? Replace the WSS hat with something else and see how it affects the panzer commander -

Have they fixed the problem in CMBO where the Germans only had the one BMP for the erman helmet? As I recall if you wanted to equip your troops with winter cam for helmets everyone ended up having a white helmet regardless of the season. -
I knew it had to happen sometime although I'm surprised that it's up there already. Before everyone has gotten their preordered copies already!! I thought the reason he was selling it was kind of funny. He got 2 copies by mistake. BTS will you please screw up again and send me two copies? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2057583963

BTS has all the preorders been shipped?

Any suggestions on what program to use? Something that is userfriendly preffered. Someone on the CMBB forum was making movies using SnapzPro2 but I think that may just be a Mac program and I need something that will work for Windows thanks

Where are the On-Line Reviews?!?!
Canuck replied to Kong's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I always was peeved that Ign.com never posted a review of the original CMBO. I emailed them a couple of times about it but they never published my complaint in their "Letters" section. Damn them! -
CMBB has arrived in Canada!!!

Poll: What fog-of-war level do you play at?
Canuck replied to japinard's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
just curious but how is extreme different from full? -
I take it from your thread HERE that the frustration is starting to mount. Guess who is playing what of yours right this moment at customs???

An hour to install? This is just too much!
Canuck replied to kmead's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
what speed is your cd rom? I think that's more the culprit rather than the game. Although I admit individually installing all those BMP's does take a while.
