  1. Steve, I believe it would probably be a good idea to keep the Big Bundle completely up to date, and at the same price point or even lower, so new players always have the option to buy everything with one purchase. So the current CMBN Big Bundle should include the 3.0 Upgrade, IMO.
  2. My original copy of CMBO came in a ziplock bag. Still have it, the printed receipt and everything. :-)
  3. BFC (IIRC) removed the limits on number of downloads several months ago.
  4. Allow me to direct you to the appropriate thread for your concerns: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=116220
  5. Downloaded. Already upgraded CMFI. Still waiting on my CMBN tournament opponents to respond before proceeding. I don't do dual installs.
  6. I have a GTX 680 and have no problems playing Huge battles on Huge maps with all options turned to best quality. CM is a game that also benefits from a fast CPU. Yours is a previous generation but it was probably the best of the previous generation so I doubt it is limiting you nearly as much as that video card.
  7. Welcome aboard! The GTX 460 is probably your performance bottleneck. But I'm sure you knew that.
  8. I've personally seen some impressive distance shooting from a standing position with a Browning Buckmark .22 . Of course, we all know that hitting a stationary target is far, far different than trying to hit a moving target or one that is shooting back. 10 meters should probably be maximum effective distance for handguns in CM.
  9. Unlike some others I consider this to be annoying screen clutter rather than something desirable, though I do understand why some want it. Is there a toggle to turn this on/off?
  10. Ah, now we are back to our regular programming. Yes, pay your $10, put a smile on your face, and we may invite you into the cigar lounge. $10 cover charge.
  11. Oh my, slysniper, you are SO politically incorrect!! +1
  12. Yep, I never found a mod that I liked, and I still want the toggle. I don't imagine it would be difficult, as CMBN and CMFI don't have the UI casualty markers......yet.
  13. Toggle to turn on/off unit casualties in the UI. Hotkey would be fine.
  14. As someone who has preordered every WW2 CM product you have released......meh on the 50% off to get the streamlined installer offer. I might be persuaded to give you $10 each game for a streamlined installer, once all modules/packs are released for that particular game. That's about all it's worth to me.
  15. Sure. You can get CMBO for something like $5 now from GoG. :-)
  16. Good news for the bundle purchasers and new customers. It really isn't that big of a deal to reinstall everything the "hard" way, however. I had to a few months ago due to a SSD crash, and I made a "cheat sheet" for myself. Here is the CMBN one: Install order: (1) CMBN (2) Commonwealth Module (3) V 1.11 Patch (4) CMBN 2.0 Upgrade (5) Market Garden Module (6) V 2.12 Patch I assume step 7 will be the 3.0 Upgrade, when it is released. I keep all the exe files backed up on Dropbox, so reinstalling only took me perhaps 15 minutes. Edit: And you only have to enter the most recent license key, not all of them.
  17. Close to it. By far the best "medium" tank in the game. The PZIV is a joke compared to a Panther, as you well know. As for QB house rules, if my opponent doesn't say anything prior to Turn 1, then I just assume no defender 1st turn pre-planned arty strikes and no TRPs or pre-planned arty strikes in meeting engagements, and anything else goes. If my opponent wants more stringent house rules, I usually go along with them. I had one opponent who gave me a long laundry list of house rules, which I found quite tiresome, then he wanted to play an Assault, with him attacking, which of course gave him a tremendous points advantage. I went along with it, for the first and last time.
