They're basically the same vehicle - except for the mounted machine gun. Britsh designation: Kangaroo American designation: T8 reconnaissance car The T8 is available starting December '44, so the date must be set accordingly. You can find it under American vehicles. mike8g

COMBAT MISSIONS: Clubfoot's "Panther / PzIV CMMOS Packs"
mike8g replied to Manx's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Additional info: The Wirbelwind mod itself remains the same, only the credit info was changed, since it is based on Gordon Moleks "hasty" camo scheme which itself is based upon Fernando's Panzer IV. It thought originally that all (Panzer and camo) was done by Fernando. Sorry for inconvenience and thanks goes to Cubies Phan for giving me the hint. mike8g -

Wirbelwind and Ostwind in "Fernando"-style. Based on his great Panzer IV mod (used with permission). Edit: Credit for "Hasty" camo scheme belongs to Gordon Molek. Mod will be sent to Manx and Tom's CMHQ shortly. Marcus [ 10-02-2001: Message edited by: mike8g ]

Within the Scenarion Editor go to "Parameters" and enter the desired number of flags. Then change to "Map" and enter the 3D "Preview" where you can change their position like normal units. mike8g

WineCape's Wine Tourney II
mike8g replied to Treeburst155's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Quite undecided. My flanking attack was crushed, but my Daimlers managed to take out a StuG IV. Another fell victim to an AT-gun, while he toasted some of my vehicles with Panzerschrecks. We both have tanks and troops left to seize and hold the VLs. -

Actually Fernando has made a 250/8 variant and released it as an update to his SdKfz 250 set around February 2001. It's in Hires and had three different camo variants. I have winter versions for the Cromwell and the Churchill. Can't remember the guy, who sent them to me, but they're based on the stock CM graphics. Marcus [ 09-18-2001: Message edited by: mike8g ] -

Just checked, it is definitely a Netscape issue. The critical difference seems to be the space inside the links: IE uses "%20" for the link, while Netscape uses a space " ". Obviously the server does make a difference between them. Copying the correct link with "%20" into a Netscape browser window works too. Marcus [ 09-01-2001: Message edited by: mike8g ] -

Still waiting for the return of Chuckle.. -
Vanir, I have winter mods for the Cromwell and the Churchill. Don't know from which authors I got them but they do exist. Anyhow, they are basically snowy versions of the stock CM textures. Marcus

Nice idea, may I suggest to add a date of last change for each tourney, so that you can see with one view if anything has changed. Marcus -
What rifle does your country shoot today?
mike8g replied to lcm1947's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Germany: Heckler&Koch Gewehr G3 (7,62mm) now changing to Heckler&Koch Gewehr G36 (5,56mm) both single shot and full-auto mode. mike8g -
They are on CMHQ, just DON'T look under winter vehicles, but here instead: http://www.combatmission.com/mods/alliedsupport.asp Marcus

AFAIK there are several MODs for soldiers faces. Just have a look at MadMatts CombatHQ or Tom's CMHQ. You might find something like this, which is a MOD I did last September: There is even a MOD which converts the faces to Hamsters , but that is a different topic, hehe. Glad to hear that news. Welcome back. BTW, has anybody heard a word from Chuckle ? His last response was from July, 12th. Regards Marcus [ 08-13-2001: Message edited by: mike8g ] -
F_Paulus, check your e-mail. I've sent you both mods. I got them from a guy (forgot his name) some months ago - these are snowy versions of the stock CM graphics, so don't expect any optical highlights. Marcus [ 08-12-2001: Message edited by: mike8g ]
