  1. CMBN should force actual weather conditions for the date chosen or it will be considered a failure as an historical weather simulator.
  2. Well, that was the reason the game was released with so many bugs. They had a deal with another company, Paradox I believe, for distribution in certain parts of the world. They had a firm deadline which couldn't be moved. As you can see with how long it has taken to finish CMBN, it took BFC much longer than they originally planned to finish CMSF, but due to the deadline they had to release it as it was. The game was playable, but certainly not up to BFC's standards, nor those of its customers. Of course, they released several patches to get the game to where it should have been upon release. They don't have a deadline this time around, so they can wait, and have waited, until the game is where they want it to be. That doesn't mean CMBN game is "finished," because as BFC will admit, no game is ever "finished." There are always features they will have wanted to include but never could if the game was ever to be released. Things may get added with patches, or in modules, or may even have to wait until the next game. But BFC has cautioned us not to expect as many features to be added via patches to CMBN as there were with CMSF, since many of those additions were due to the incomplete state when CMSF was released.
  3. Enough with the "not another CMSF" stuff. You know full well that BFC had to release the game before it was ready due to contractual obligations.
  4. All M8 Greyhound gunners were told to take out King Tigers from the rear.
  5. As far I know, in CMSF a soldier can only acquire individual weapons and not crew served weapons via buddy aid. So, assuming I am correct, and that this hasn't changed for CMBN, a truck driver could pick up an MG42 with a bipod, but not man an MG42 mounted on a tripod. When the Commonwealth module is available a truck driver will be able to pick up a Bren with a bipod, but not a Bren with a tripod.
  6. Is it possible to see kill stats for a unit that has been wiped out and fully buddy aided off the map?
  7. Tank crews wore black uniforms while TD crews (such as StuGs) wore gray uniforms. At least that is my understanding.
  8. I think they have two Heer models for variation, maybe the difference is the old and new boots.
  9. You're gonna love the thread after that analyzes the discussion of the AAR. The AAAR, if you will.
  10. I'd like it if the red based guys disappear after buddy aid (evacuate the wounded) while the brown based (dead) guys stay on the field. You could have mass casualties during a battle but have almost no visual indication of it if all the bodies are cleaned up.
  11. I'd expect it will work the same as CMSF and will be determined by the scenario designer.
  12. Then you will miss out on the LA area preview, which IS GONNA HAPPEN!!!! Isn't it?
  13. When is someone going to host a Preview in the southern hemisphere of California?
  14. Oh, the tranny hookers on Hollywood Boulevard!
  15. Is it the See's Candy in the mall near my house?
  16. I seem to remember in CMx1 that TAB would put you in a unit's perspective, but in CMx2 it puts you a little behind the unit. You lose a little of the "you are there" feeling. I also seem to remember complaining about this when CMSF came out.
