  1. Thanks for the Answer Mikey, however I was referring to the soldiers status that is in the lower left corner of the screen just above the main user interface, all the soldiers in the squad appear in a green text, and it would be nice to have a different color for their status there as well (besides the main interface). My other note is about the labels that you see in the 3D map when a vehicle is hit (internal flaking etc,) which was so good in CMx1. Itai
  2. Will the Marine Module update the unit status colors? (moving, firing, reloading etc). Currently the status of the soldiers is displayed in a uniform green color, it would be helpful if wounded or incapacitated soldiers will show in a different color. Also can we expect to see labels when a vehicle is hit to show what happened? These labels in CMx1 added a lot to the action and revealed what's going on "under the hood". Thanks, Itai
  3. Just wanted to share with you a rather brief second look by SimHQ on bot CM:SF and Theatre of War. http://www.simhq.com/_land3/land_107a.html Itai
  4. Steve mentioned that there won't be a 1.09 patch. The Marine Module will ship as Version 1.1 Itai
  5. Sorry if it was suggested before but how about you get to choose which units to keep for the next battle? This way you still play 'fair&safe' with your units and the ones who did well will be your 'core' units for the next battle. Itai
  6. Thanks for the infomation Steve! After reading your post I feel a bit frustrated because it feels that CMSF is now something that will soon be forgotten and since WW2 is becoming the main focus I fear that all the improvements planned for WW2 won't make it to CMSF. Personally I prefer the current modern warfare setting more than WW2. Can you please assure me and others who share my interest that you won't forget CMSF and continue to improve it after you go WW2? With that said, I would like to see key features like water, bridges, on map mortar teams as well as other cool stuff that will be in WW2 make it to CMSF eventually. I don't want to see CMSF end up as the guinea pig for it's big shiny 'brother' that is the new WW2 game. Thanks. Itai [ April 08, 2008, 10:42 PM: Message edited by: Itael ]
  7. Very good points, The addition of "Tooltips" for the weapon icons was a great addition to 1.05. If BFC can make tooltips for the ammo screen it will solve all the questions and misunderstandings. Itai
  8. Wow, to see 'positive' comments from Thewood and Adam1 in the same thread **rubbing eyes in disbelief** If these respected guys enjoy CMSF now then it means 1.06 is GOOD, hehe. Battlefront - You did a great job with 1.06 and with CMSF in General, Thank you. Itai
  9. I think it would be interesting to see a remake of "Hamburger Hill" in this game! Itai
  10. Very nice Picture! However I think it's taken from the "Full Spectrum Warrior" game if that's OK. Itai
  11. Thanks for those MikeyD! Will report back with feedback... Itai
  12. Actually since 1.03 the grass has been improved to a point that it doesn't need a mod in my opinion! Seeing Infantry and Vehicle repaints would be great though. Itai
  13. Thank You so much for the patch BFC! As always I love your work and I appreciate your efforts! Have a wonderful Christmas all. Cheers, Itai
  14. By the length of Seteve's recent posts I would say it's all the proof you need Itai [ December 04, 2007, 03:54 AM: Message edited by: Itael ]
  15. I would start hitting F5 more towards Friday The fact that Steve is back "online" doesn't mean the patch will be online today. I think he is "back" to settle things down a few days before release. Of course I would be more than happy to be wrong here
  16. Is there any chance to see "Flight Commander 3"? Pretty Please? FC2- http://www.migman.com/ref/1990_combat/FC2/FC2.htm was one of the BEST games I played, and if I am not mistaken it was made by the same guys who brought us Combat Mission?
  17. Unless he likes doing that stuff so much that he started a company. </font>
  18. Sorry for jumping in so late after the release of the patch, but WOW! 1.04 is a huge improvement. I actually liked the game when it was released, but now I am certain that this game will be a classic. It is already a classic in many aspects and with added TacAI reactions it will reach the same level of amazing battles that unfolded in CM1. Thank you so much BFC, to all of you! You do an amazing job and in my opinion you are really not appreciated enough lately, which is a shame. You really know how to make a wargame. Itai
  19. Thanks for the update Steve, really appreciate it! Looking forward to the patch. Itai
  20. Hey George, I wanted to add my vote as well for a map & scenario well done! I too played very careful (due to the generous time offered by the scenario) that kept me in a good position in the first 30-40 minutes, then all hell broke loose and I lost so many men, I got so pissed off that I had to shut down CMSF After a cool down I reloaded the game and kept on until vicotry. Well done! and keep them coming. Itai
  21. Thanks for the scenario Birdstrike, I really enjoyed playing it - Very well made overall! Looking forward to more scenarios from you. Itai
  22. Thank you so much Battlefront! All I can say is WOW. 1.03 has improved the graphics considerably, the textures, the grass, the sand, everything looks so much better, even the soldiers seem more detailed. I am totally blown away! keep up the good work guys! Itai
  23. I am running Vista 32bit with Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz and a Geforce 8800gts with no problems. Itai
  24. Hi All, Just wanted to let all Vista users know that there is a hotfix available here -http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940105 It is supposed to solve memory "leak" problems when running games under Windwos Vista. Hopefully it will make the games inclusing SF run better. Itai
