  1. What like...."Wull uz long uz thar are no Uzzies tryung to sund like Nuw Zealunders I wood be huppy." Regards Jim R.
  2. One of the funniest lines I've read in a long time. Regards Jim R.
  3. As long as it's not some Yank trying to sound like an Aussie I'm happy. Regards Jim R.
  4. So, we have a firm date now on when CMX2 is going to be released then. Doesn't the above quote promise by December 2004? Regards Jim R.
  5. I thought I'd give my own thread a bump to keep it front of mind for BFC. Regards Jim R.
  6. What, no BAR tripods in CMAK? BFC, fix or do sumfink!!! Regards Jim R.
  7. Jeez, that's some big-assed gun! I must have missed the railway gun in the OOB. Regards Jim R.
  8. I don't have the game yet. Can someone tell me whether Cromwells & Churchill AVRE's are in for the Poms and Chaffee's for the Yanks? Thanks in advance Jim R.
  9. I believe a platoon of T26's and a BT5 with a bad attitude! Regards Jim R.
  10. Napoleonic times is probably a good example of this where the Russian army had 12 pounder cannons as their common artillery piece (as were the French) while the British were still using 6 pounders extensively. Regards Jim R.
  11. Can you post a link to that thread discussing the availability of AVRE's in CMAK? I must have missed it. Regards Jim R.
  12. It has armour, tracks and a gun. What more inspiration do you need? Regards Jim R.
  13. Plus, the Soviets had a historical tendency to favour guns that had better HE effect on infantry (even if at the slight expense of penetration values) when deciding on which weapons to adopt en masse. This is in contrast to the U.S. which adopted the 76mm gun for its Shermans as soon as possible because of its armour penetration abilities despite it being inferior against infantry compared with the ol' 75mm gun. Mind you, an eminently sensible decision IMO as well. Regards Jim R.
  14. Actually, from memory there were 12 patches in all for CMBO but only the 3 for CMBB (so far...fingers crossed there'll be at least one more). Obviously the BFC guys are getting better at putting out an almost bug free game with each incarnation. Regards Jim R.
  15. Ummm, lemme guess. For the Germans there is the King Tiger, Jagdtiger, Brummbar, Stormoser Tiger i.e. basically all the "uber" stuff we all like to play around with. For the British they'll more than likely miss out on Cromwells, Challengers and possibly Churchill ARVE's but I'm not certain on that last one. The Americans wont have Pershings but I think they'll get pretty much what was available in CMBO apart from the exception already mentioned plus the always pleaded for M16 halftrack. Come to think of it, the Chaffee may not be available either as I'm not sure it made it to the Italian theatre. How'd I do? Regards Jim R.
  16. That's true of CMBO but in CMBB (and I assume in CMAK as it follows on from CMBB) you should always be able to find out how many kills any one unit achieves once the battle is over and you're in the results phase at the end. Unless an exception applies to sharpshooters for some reason they should also have their kill stats revealed at the end. Regards Jim R.
  17. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Please no more "a dungo took mi baybee" style voices! Regards Jim R. [ November 24, 2003, 08:12 PM: Message edited by: Kanonier Reichmann ]
  18. Perhpas it was just a typo Andreas and he meant the MG42? Worth considering. Regards Jim R.
  19. Try winning that argument with a ladder player when you want to adjust his score as the attacker! Personally, I don't like your chances. Regards Jim R.
  20. Thanks Kingfish. Interestingly, the only player who was able to avoid a negative Nabla adjusted score when playing all 3 scenario's was Deadly 88 indicating that he consistantly performed above the median no matter whom the opponent. Well done and congratulations. Regards Jim R.
  21. The prodigal son has returned! Welcome back TB155. In the words of the recent Matrix film..."weee've misssed youuu" Regards Jim R.
  22. It would be ideal if we could get confirmation from BFC that they do in fact intend to release another patch for CMBB before regarding it as a finished product with no more patches to come. P.S. I did send an email to the boys at BFC with relevant save files some time ago so I'm not just bleating without having first sent evidence of the problem. Regards Jim R. 23. Hey...what about the averages for us non-finalists? We count too you know! Regards Jim R.
  24. You're a sick man JonS, a sick man. Regards Jim R. P.S. Thanks for the extra info. on the 25 pdr. Excellent reading. [ November 19, 2003, 10:15 PM: Message edited by: Kanonier Reichmann ]
