I agree with Steve...We all thought the CMBO UI sucked. I really don't think it still is very good, but it was streamlined enough to grow on me. I have spent 14 hours on a flight playing CMSF in RT. I am going back to WEGO. I was constantly missing things happenings. One QB started out within the first 5 seconds 2 M2s and 3 T72s dead. I missed it checking a stupid squad tangled up. What would get me throwing out WEGO is some kind of replay or event log. Even in real life commanders get SITREPs and AARs to kkep track of what has happened. The thing that bothers me the most about RT is that unit may have spotted a whole battalion passing in front of it, but I screwing around doing a house entry with a brainless sqaud that I have no clue. That is where event or SITREPs are critical.

Oh well, no takers. I will just have play hotseat with the 90 year old grandmother sitting next to me on the plane. At least she'll provide a challenge. I'll SOD OFF now. (I say that becuase it seems to make you giggle). Don't worry, I'll check in whan the plane gets in to Boston in about 20 hours.

Unfortunately I have an hour wait and in the airport so I stopped by to if any of the pagen stiffs have moved on to something more productive like gumming down their scones. But I guess not. I have to keep on checking in between beers to see if this place eventually cleans itself up. One good thing is there seems to a dearth of Canucks here. That at least allows me take the chastity belt off my dog. btw, any you folks from away want try some new fangled CM. Or is CMSF too new fangled for guys stuck in 1945. I have come around realizing how much like CMBO's relaese this is. Of course without the bitteness and high expectations. CMBO was playale and fun when it came out, but really hit its stride with CMBB. I think a lot of us expected it to be CMBB/AK + new stuff. Instead, we got a new engine we had relearn and some stuff had come to know and love was missing. If I clear my mind and look afresh at it, It is a very good release.

Well that was fun...glad I could spend some time. Now I have catch a fast plane form China so I'll SOD OFF now. May pop back in at the airport to see if anyone has organized this place or performed euthanasia

Sorry, I do agree with that. But prefer it that way after playing POA2 for a while. Once you lose contact with your own troops it becomes too much like work.

Didn't I say that in my post Also, I hope BFC chimes in becuae all my points are assumptions based on what I seen playing and snippets from BFC.
