Tried that, games kicks out then too. I did change the file names of some after I downloaded them, but that shouldn't make a difference should it? OK, I just got the game, finally, today, and I loaded up the patch, the MAD-DOG mods and the user created scenarios that have been available for the past week or so. But when I click on one, it kicks me out of the game. What's up with that? Anybody else have this problem? ------------------ "I for one, am pretty damn close to Genius"--Ol' Blood & Maximus

FINALLY, the mail lady was kind enough to deliver it today at 10:15am. But this will be for the tech forum but I'll post it here anyway. I've installed the patch and MAD_DOG mods and user made scenarios. The game won't recognize the user made scenarios. What's the deal? I click on one and it kicks me out of the game. OH LORD Mr. Kettler, where to start?? First of all, your first suggestion would just shoot the idea of FOW all to hell. The whole idea of fighting a battle is that you DON'T know what the enemy has. Ha! Well actually all your suggestions are pretty much defeating the purpose of the game. What do you mean you want to know exactly how much and what kind of artillery the enemy has to start out with? Again, that shoots FOW all to hell. As for descriptions on what type of enemy you have killed, that is also rolled into FOW. What do you want next, a detailed map of where the enemy is hiding? Have you even played CM at all??? Sounds like you haven't. Or better yet, have you even read any of the past 63,000 posts. You've basically contradicted everything we've discussed for the past 6 months or so. Yes, I think that the population of Germany today should just get over the guilt of the Nazi Party. As NCrawler suggested, today's Americans don't feel guilty of the Confederate government. What it all boils down to is that all of this is a part of history. Things change and you have to move on. I'm sure today's population of Italy doesn't begrudge the ancient Roman Emipre's trodgeries.
