Maximus

The winter textures are the same as the regular files except they start with a '1'. The game does a IF statement I believe. For example, IF snow is present, load the texture files '1xxxx' IF present. Where 'x' is a number. For example the side texture file for the Tiger IE is '3200.bmp', and if you have a file named '13200.bmp' when there is snow present, the game loads that one instead of the '3200.bmp'. ------------------ "I for one, am pretty damn close to Genius"--Ol' Blood & Maximus

WELL, WELL, WELL. I have been very busy as of late pumping out winter texture sets. I have decided to do ALL the German stuff myself. Some are the same as Stephane's, some are different. Currently I have the following sets done. <LI>PzVIB King Tiger <LI>PzVIE Tiger <LI>SPW250 family of halftracks <LI>SPW251 family of halftracks <LI>PzIVG,H,&J <LI>JgPzIV family <LI>Hetzer <LI>JgPanther <LI>PzIIL Lynx <LI>US '45 pattern infantry and US Airborne <LI>JUST IN! StuG IIIGs, StuH 42s, StuG IV More to come! PSW family in progress, gotta hunt down the other couple files to make them complete. I plan to do the rest of the German stuff. Like I said, some may be similar to Stephane's stuff, but I think we're using our paint programs a little differently. Mine aren't as "washed out" as Stephan's and have a blackened barrel tip where appropriate. OK, so far I have created winter mods for the following: 1) U.S. Infantry ('45 pattern) 2) SPW250/8 Halftrack (although I think I might redo this one, I think it's too WHITE!) 3) PzIIL Lynx I am now working on the King Tiger. Not sure if they ever painted these up with a winter scheme, but what the heck. You don't have to use'em if you don't want'em. Thanks to Madmatt, I cleaned up my version of the SPW250/8. (The pink spots) Boy that's a bitch! Red-254, Green-0, Blue-254 = Transparent pink. Anyway, the picture (on CMHQ) for the US Infantry uniforms is from v1.1. v1.2 has grey helmets and (dirtier) uniforms to match. Well, while looking for the other files for the other versions of SPW250's, I found the Lynx files. SO!! I'm doing a winter version of the Lynx!! I'm working on a winterized version of the SPW250/8. Why??? I just surfed through the BMP folder, found the files for a SPW250 varient and started painting. Then I loaded all 250 varients into the editor and volla! The 250/8 varient had white on it! It's the one with the short-barreled 75mm gun. Yep, you guessed it, the all green uniforms for the US 45 pattern rifle squads will soon be "Winterized". So far in just the past hour so I've done the sides, legs, and arms. Now I gotta work on the complicated torso part. They look pretty good. I'll send them to Madmatt or anybody to post once I get them done and am happy about them.
