  1. Wish I could watch it but it is a crap server from Germany. Only loads about 5 seconds at a time. Is there a way to download and save?

  3. Then.................................contact with the enemy is made in an unforcast position and battle plan gets crumpled up and throw to the bin!
  4. I dont think so. It doesnt matter. The simple problem was that a sniper team in good C2 was not getting an enemy position via C2 through their company CO.
  5. FWIW the Company HQ was on the map with the snipers. This same group of guys were the snipers C2 connection (green dot).
  6. Steve? Are you asking Charles? Please? Also in CM1 when my platoon HQ was killed I could use my Company HQ to keep the men in command. This is not possible in CMSF?
  7. Oh....and I have a C2 question. Now I know that having my squad in C2 (green light) with their immediate HQ is good for all the obvious reasons. BUT.....if the squads HQ unit in NOT in C2 (red light) with, say the Company HQ will that effect the Squads fighting ability from a moral standpoint? So the squad is IN C2 with their HQ but the HQ is NOT IN C2 with their higher ups. Will it effect the squad or just the squads HQ?
  8. "The Terminator Effect" was that the occupants lived or died? Like....even though the building fell on them they crawled out unscathed, thus being terminators? or To Terminate everyone in that building just hit it with arty until it collapses?
  9. I think there has been a C2 bug for a long time. I even sent Steve a save file but I never heard back from him. I had a test setup that had a solid/vet/not under fire sniper team with radio and RPDA never get a position report of the enemy spotted by a squad. The squad reported it to the HQ, the HQ reported it to the Company HQ, but the Company HQ never would report it to the snipers, even after 20 minutes of testing. I watched the report go up the chain in the test (it was cool to see actually) but it never went the full route. Not sure why and I have seen this before and it is frustrating.
  10. I would REALLY like to hear from Steve or Charles on this one. After all, its their baby. FWIW when a building falls there should be almost no fight left in the survivors. The wounds/dust/disorientaion/whatever would be a huge factor. And when we are talking 155mm hits I dont think there would be any survivors hardly ever.
  11. I think that last year at this time there were only loose ends but that changed (for the better!) as new things were added. For instance FOW trenches!!!!!
  12. That is because CMSF was entirly new. CM:N isnt. It would not have nearly the same amount of bugs....and the bugs it has wouldnt be game breakers. RELEASE IT NOW!
  13. I have to, at this point, disagree. It has been a LONG time. It HAS to be in, at least, presentable shape by now after all it is based on an already released fomula. At this point I really dont want to wait anymore. I say release it and we can enjoy it and help you focus on patches. I mean think about it: IT IS GOING TO NEED PATCHES NO MATTER WHEN IT IS RELEASED SO LETS GET STARTED!
  14. Steve, I think most 9mm is supersonic (over 1115 ft/sec). Some is just under. Depends on barrel length too. I think subgun is just short for submachine gun isnt it?

  18. I think he KNOWS that CM:N will not model beaches. I think his POINT was that it is okay to wish for certain things even though they are a nich or minority as they can enrichen the whole game.
  19. The lack of sound thing really throws me. Without sound contacts we can have G.I.'s crouching in front of a wall and they cannot hear an running tiger on the other side of said wall. If this is correct....well...you know..
