  1. Mmmmm...OK. Sorry to hear your experience wasn't up to your expectations.
  2. Thank you for some specifics. I'll take a closer look at some of the things you described. thanks again.
  3. Didn't we just cover some of this in the "Foxholes not providing enough cover thread", Steiner? Steve has already mentioned that foxholes and defensive positions in general were being tweaked. Oddball, I'm not sure went wrong for you but hide with a cover arc has ALWAYS brought my hiding troops out of hide and start shooting...especially AT assets. Do you happen to have some specific save games that show otherwise that I and other testers can review?
  4. I'm sorry Womble, I believe that you are incorrect on this item. Units will hide, but will break hide to engage a proper target when it enters the target arc. Ex. you can test. Pick a panzerscreck or bazooka...have them hide with a target arc. They will spot just fine but will withhold fire until a tank or other target enters their target arc. They will then "unhide" and attack the target.
  5. I'd like to thank you for your effort. This will be a video I send people to review when they ask about CMBN.
  6. Second gettysburg...although a more "american" stop.
  7. a key point to remember is the log in to the forum is NOT tied to the log in to the Battlefront Store...so even if you have a login to post...you may have to register at the "store" portion of the Battlefront website before you can buy anything.
  8. Just out of curiousity...what kind of mission.. Area or point?
  9. Looks awesome....I wish Steel Beasts had that kind of graphics with the rest that they offer.
  10. I did read a book "Company Commander" and they discussed calling in artillery at night based on sound. One platoon commander called the arty in and a platoon sergeant was calling in corrections based on the "sound" of the arty shells. They did this on two seperate nights when they heard an engine sounds that they thought was a tank coming into their positions on the Sigfried line.
  11. Yes you can. Seen screenshot with that exact thing happening.
  12. I was under the impresstion that the Armored Cars 20mm only fired AP rounds...in essense focus on Anti-Armor use. I'll take a look at the area fire thing though. Do they fire their AC at actual targets they can see?
  13. Good Lord, you saused up, Guiness drinking, skirt-wearing, tit; be happy that I remember your blather at all. Not that I wanted to, but the picture of you with the Queen...made me shudder as I wasn't sure who was who. As for bolding, both you and the self-styled sheriff of this puddle have memories that make a field mouse look like Einstien. I was knighted by the one and true Record Keeper of old Lorak, not this Johnny-come-lately Joe. I suppose that it can't be avoided, I was a bit scarce as Korea and Afghanistan...and Idaho have limited internet connections that reach this deep in the nether regions of the Internet...thank God. I could hate you from afar, which really is the best way as that haggis you eat smells like my boys feet after a hard practice of football...the real one not that silly girlie game you pillocks play in the Olde Country.
  14. Listen, I realize your a SSN and your inability to read large comlicated words is severely limited, but actually challenge someone you tit. This mamby-pamby muttering about internet is not a challenge with wit and verve. I swear the Cesspool these days, how I long for the second comming of Berli.
  15. That's right you pathetic, sheepshagger...which obviously means your from Aussie Land as OGMF isn't around. Fear, the BUFF, Iran isn't a threat but Aussie...now there is something worth a nuke...especially since you've been keeping the good beer to yourselves.
  16. Remember, the BRAIN in a Jar can never be wrong. Funny thing is I've been out of B-52 land for so long...you return and I get orders to be a squadron commander at Barksdale...with B-52s. Coincidence? I think not! You gamey bastich
  17. I knew that old foul Joe couldn't keep you down forever. you return, much like a canker sore, but you return. I'd ask for a setup to thrash you in celebration, but I've got "The next big Patch" and can't be arsed to keep an older version of CM:N handy.
  18. I assume you downloaded the game or paid the amount needed to get your steelbox out of ransom? If you do have some of these issues, please post them and a save game here and we'll take a look at them. Can't promise anything, but we'll definately look into it.
  19. Unfortunatly Gurra, both of those pictures are so dark, I can't see anything.
  20. Very Nice!!!! Wonderful view of the game!
  21. Lint, definately Lint....oh and some stuff from the Peng thread, you would never believe what my fellow Cesspoolians leave behind.
  22. Yes and he probably uses a N52 and more that likely uses the addon that puts conditional checks and then activates a bind key..ex. button 1-===If I dodged then special attack 1, if I block then special attack 2, regualar attack 1. In this way the player hits button "1" and one of three attacks will happen without him thinking about which attack in particular will happen. That was a simple example, many player...especially PvP ones have If..Then chains with 5 to 8 different actions all keyed off one button push....each action calls for a specifical keybind..so when he says he has 90 keybinds, its not like all 90 are on the screen at once or he has to hit them one at a time. ------------------- the biggest problem I see is that the UI has to function for RT and WeGO...each has differing requirements for accessiblity. the "three" clicks is acceptable for WeGo but not for RT and that is where the rub is. Frankly, I'm a happy camper that I don't have to develop a solution, cause I'm sure I'd screw it up.
  23. Well, if you select the unit that is receiving fire, it will "highlight" all the enemy units that it sees...so you could assume that if you see them, they see you. That would give you a place to start looking. Also, if you lock the view on that unit, you normally see inbound tracers..even from units that were previously not visible to you...giving you a "general" direction of the fire. As you go up the difficulty ranks (which settings you pick for each battle) your ability to get info directly becomes harder and harder...much like real life.
  24. Well then I guess that whole Cuban missile crisis was a mere reporters story as well. Fact: DPRK has exported missile technology to Iran...Tapo Dong missiles, and Iran is working on improving them Fact: DPRK has exploded a nuclear weapon Fact: Tapo Dong's can carry a nuclear or chemical payload Fact: Iran & China have both been cultivating their relationship with Venezula Now, they may or may not be building missile silos...I would suspect NOT as Tapo Dongs are not launched from silos but mobile launch sites, but I would easily believe that Venezula and Iran have been or would transfer missile tech...I'm sure Chavez would love the ability to "counter Capitalistic" aggression.
