Peng and his Challenge go to White Castle
BFCElvis replied to BFCElvis's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Dear Hordes, It is also my intention to post favorite scenes from Harold and Kumar go to WHite Castle beginning on page 3 of this thread. I'm sure they will come as spoilers for people who haven't seen. That is why I am waiting a few days....give you a chance to view it. Love, Elvis P.S. Or I'll get a job and probably won't here from me again until next thread. -

It looked like it was time for a new one and I felt like honoring the funniest movie I have seen in a very long time. You all know the rules so don't ask me to repeat them.

Dear Wankers, Elvis Costello I'm Not Angry You’re upstairs with the boyfriend while I’m left here to listen. I hear you calling his name, I hear the stutter of ignition. I could hear you whispering as I crept by your door. So you found some other joker who could please you more. I’m not angry, I’m not angry anymore. I’m not angry, I’m not angry anymore. Ooh, I know what you’re doin’. I know where you’ve been. I know where, but I don’t care, ’cause there’s no such thing as an original sin. I’ve got this camera click, click, clickin’ in my head. I got you talking with your hands, got you smiling with your legs. Spent all my time in a vanity factory, Wonderin’ when they’re gonna come and take it all back. Not too bitter is it? Love, Elvis

Wanted: A Really Good CM Player
BFCElvis replied to The_Capt's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Capt, I am probably the best CM player that currently posts to this forum (like the modesty? {Fionn doesn't post anymore and nobody can beat him}). I played CPX and CMMC1 from start to finish and have been with CMMC2 since it started so I am familiar with the concept. Let me know where to sign. Love, Elvis P.S. CMMC2 is accepting applications and has recently begun moving along at a decent clip. Info can be found at www.cmmc2.org -
Steve, interesting bone regarding bailout and back. Will this also aply to abandoned guns?

Yo Steve, I have refrained from voicing an opinion or making a suggestion about a possible option because I have a great deal of faith that BFC will do the right thing and build the best game possible. But I do want to throw out an idea that I don't know if someone has already mentioned. I call it my "To the Volga" idea. The satantic fiend Berli designed the To the Volga operation for CMBB and it is still unplayable on my system. I hope that one day I (or maybe one of my decendents) will have a computer system that can handle that operation. So my thought is, IF PBEM is found to not be reasonably managable perhaps a patch with the unmanagable PBEM feature could be released after the game (not unlike how TCP was released after CMBOs release so as to not slow down CMBOs release). Then when the time comes that peoples computers and ISPs can handle the files it is already there. Also, you're right about the ISP size thing. Mine just went from 10MB to 30MB. My fathers (comcast.net) Just went from 10MB to 250MB...they didn't even annouce to him that they were increasing it..just one day it happened. So who knows we may all have 2 gigs of email storage space in a couple of years...one never knows. Love, Elvis

Wow......winter 2005/2006. Didn't expect to hear that kind of timetable. If memory serves, with CMBO we had some screen shots by now and if I'm not mistaken it would be about this time that the Fionn/Martin AAR came out....Not for nuttin...just throwing that out there...chewing the fat...diverting the pestering to a new area......

Andreas...check your email.

I think Steve just touched on what many readers of these threads are missing. This forum can only be a small slice of BFCs customer base. Heck, there are under 17,000 registered members. If that's all the copies they've sold it wouldn't be enough to cover the hookers and blow bill let alone develop additional games. My point is that no one on this forum could possibly know what their client base wants or doesn't want. All we can know is what posters on this forum want. One of my best friends has both CMBO and CMBB and has only played a few PBEM games over the years and no TCP that I am aware of. I learned a long, long, long time ago to trust Steve and Charles' instincts..they are more often than not dead on. I'll happily take whatever they serve up.....I'd rather have PBEM (played daily since 1999) and TCP but I trust that if they determine it would compromise the game then who am I to disagree.

Thinking back on that day it does make me chuckle because whenever someone would buy us a beer the little receipt machine would start clicking and clacking and printing and everyone was amazed as how often drinks were coming in for us. They still remind me of it when I'm in there.

My Dearest Emma, The place is still there but the online thingy is gone. I did enjoy the beer very much and recently passed it (at last). My only wish was that I could send you a beverage in return. Perhaps another time. Love, Elvis

Dear Slugs, Brain and fingers were too numb to type when I returned from the Eagles win last night. It has been a long time coming. And then this found we had won in the season ticket holder lottery for the right to buy tickets to the big dance. If any of you Hollywood scum will be there my seats will be in section 414 Row H seats 27 and 28. See ya at the show. Love, Elvis
