  1. Dear Joe, That's exactly what I mean. I'm still puzzled over it myself. Love, Elvis
  2. Dear Mace, Didn't mean to turn this into a guessing game. Sorry. Our friend Germanboy/Andreas. Love, Elvis
  3. Dear RSColonel_131st, It isn't me who is getting married. And rleete, I was semi-invited (I just couldn't get over to Italy at this time) and was thinking maybe a group sending a gift would be nice. I have already sent something myself but would happy to coordinate a group thing based on pleadges. Love, Elvis
  4. Dear Loved Ones, I don't feel like scrolling back to see if it has been mentioned yet but is everyone aware one of the MBT members is getting married this weekend? Love, Elvis
  5. Ok..here's my issue...I see Peng call his daughters "Nat" and "Madge" however I was berated (quite strongly I'm not afraid to say) for calling them Maddy and Natty when they were very young. (Actual names Natalie [my goddaughter] and Madeline) Something needs to be done about this.
  6. Very clever and simple idea that I believe I hadn't heard before. Sounds like it will add a touch more realisim AND add to fun. That's why you guys are the pros.
  7. I am gonna write this without having read anyone elses. The thought being you are looking more for similar answers than coming up with my own unique and clever suggestion.. 5 things I love about CMx1 and would hate to see go: 1) "We go" system 2) Play by email, solo or TCP optiona available 3) VERY easy interface 4) Unlimited new battles through scenario editor 5) true 3D for visual and gameplay 5 things I wish CMx1 had and hope CMx2 does: 1) Force list during battle to quickly locate ubits. 2) Much better infantry graphics (I really don't care but I probably missed closing a couple of sales for you guys because of it) 3) Campaign following one unit (doesn't matter if it is a platoon or company or battalion or whatever..something continuous...) 4) More "fluid" elevations angles 5) 2 mails to complete a turn instead of 3 (this could really be answer 1 through 5...It is the change I would want to see most..maybe it could be an option when starting a game so people could decide level of security they want for a game) [ August 25, 2005, 11:52 AM: Message edited by: Elvis ]
  8. Bannon, I'd like to take it for a spin. A few years ago I stayed at a B&B near the DuPont circle so I can picture the area. Can you email it to me? Thanks.
  9. Dear Boo, You're right about the pig latin. Who told you about that? Peng? That bastard. Love, Elvis
  10. Dear Boo, I wish. What she usually does is drink all my good wine. Not that Ca or NZ ****e but the good French and Italian. Love, Elvis
  11. Along these lines I have a question maybe you guys can give me advise on........ In a VERY important battle I am playing I had a platoon HQ break/rout/pin/whatever and the Tac AI had them sneak into wire. During the next plot phase I canceled the sneak in the wire move and tried to "move" them out. They continued to come under fire and go to sneak in the wire. Finally in an attempt to save their lives I issued them a "hide" command hoping that if they were hiding they wouldn't take as much damage while I got help to provide coving fire for their escape. They ended up being eliminated. Did I do the the best thing possible for them by issuing the hide command?
  12. Dear Andreas, Mother-in-law has been in town and taking up my time. Normally not a problem for turnaround time with tturns except we are at the end of a battle and don't want to rush my set up like I did the first battle. Love, Elvis
  13. Dear Joe, Since you're still struggling I'll give you a big hint. Each word in the thread title was selected for a specific reason. Good luck, Elvis P.S. I forgot to send a set up. I will try to get it out today.
  14. Dear Emma, Thank you. Perhaps you have figured out the meaning behind my thread title? Love, Elvis

  16. Dear Boo, Do you think anyone got the reference I made in my post to Joe? Do you think anyone understands my thread title. Lost, Elvis

  18. Dear Boo, I have no idea what you are talking about. And I don't live in Pennsyltuckey...That's where Peng lives. I live in a thriving, pulsating, corrupt and mismanaged metropolitan hotbed of deceit and decadence. Probably not unlike Akron (home of Devo). Love, Elvis
