  1. Minefields are not mines-on-roads-fields. Without seeing a save file I'll venture the guess that you simply didn't give an order that avoided the mines, just the road. Could that be possible?
  2. Here's what I learned when playing with the TOW's: heavy inf weapons like the TOW are "deployed" at set up. That's great for defense but if you are attacking or just need to move than you'll want to click off deploy during the setup phase.
  3. Pandur: You're right I run Nvidia. This one has just passed me by. Jason1980: Thank you for posting this. I will post as a bug.
  4. Why not dl FRAPS It'll do pics, movies, and clock framerates ta boot...all free
  5. Short answer is No...I use a lot of tall walls for testing scen (view blocker)but don't recall seeing it...that doesn't make it so Might want to check it out when V1.10 hits. If its the same, please send the save file
  6. I'll be interested to see them. May I suggest that you save the files as you replay.
  7. A very fun read...and by the way...those re-enlistment papers the Sgt Major Pixel gave me... well ahh...ya see I want to pursue a new line of work and ahhhh well...you know what I mean...
  8. Regarding Unit facing: Those who have made scenarios know that the editor unit "deploy" screen places units in one corner of the map. The designer must move them to positions and one side will ALWAYS be facing in the wrong direction. When I have isolated a QB map that has facing issues I seem to find that if units were not used during making the map (or were not properly adjusted), the game follows the editors logic which which gives one side a face and the other an ass... (so to speak). The simple (I hope) Fix would be that all QB selected units are orientated to the the opposite of "Friendly direction" the QB Map uses
  9. Keeping my request to the realm of "this sounds easy to me"...like I'd actually know...: Syrian FO's always have Arty. Tank vs Tank means just that.... ALWAYS.
  10. So far I cannot duplicate this. I tested a BMP 2 but not under combat and not with the crew voluntarily bailing out. So an apple/orange result. The basic action works fine. The question seems to be: The BMP was mobile, suffered no damage, so why did the crew bail out. Why not pop smoke and back away? Do you happen to have a save file you could send me?
  11. You had to cycle through the full turn. That means both you and your opponent. The surrender is excepted on the next new, full turn.
  12. RommL: Is that one of your beautiful, new Syrian Mods? I love the look. How about a day shot!
  13. I sure wish you'd share a pic or two of your work on the forum's "Your best Screen Shot" thread...here: http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=73700
  14. I love Panzer General and nothing will ever be able to improve on it's pure simplicity, accuracy and absolute fun! I love Steel Panthers and nothing will ever get any better than the pure fun, accuracy and absolute simplicity this game offers! I love CMBO and nothing will ever get any better then the pure simplicity, fun, and absolute accuracy of this game! I love CM:SF and...
  15. Paper: I feel your pain, man. I got a review that said the scen was unwinnable and that he'd just strip out the map for his own uses...LOL What the hell...he found SOME use for it, anyway.
  16. Paper: I did get your test scen and will look into it. My experience with your past scen's and QB Maps is they are Beautifully crafted and correctly made. So I expect to see the same. I'll let you know what I find and pass on any bug reports to BFC....Thanks.
  17. been doing a lot of testing with scen that include Mines and IDE's without trouble. When did you notice this? Was it immediately after loading the latest patch? After loading or changing software. Anything you specifically can recall?
  18. I made a Meet test map: east to west = 1360 meters north to south = 2560 meters I set Blue friendly to north and red friendly to south, with set up zones and AI set up zones to match. I deployed Blue facing towards south and red to north. Play tested 1st set up/ceasefire and setup/play first minute/ceasefire. Did this with both sides. Also changed to Blue Attack. The results were always the same. All Blue units (no matter were placed on the map) faced south. All red units faced north. I do not dispute what you and others have seen. It is just not showing up this time. If you would care to send me the scen file I'd be happy to look at it.
  19. I'm not so sure of the map size as an issue, but I'm certainly curious about North /South editor logic. I will do some test setups maps and see if I can duplicate this problem.
