  1. I remember that. I think the rules for beserkers only applied to Russians too. Human psychology is a difficult thing to simulate.
  2. This is all bull****.What I have seen from combat footage from Ukraine, guys just get pissed off when something like this happens to their unit. I could post examples, but there are plenty to be found online with some searching.

  4. Our first turn got stuck in the load screen at 86% and the game crashed.
  5. You have enough troops in that battle to not even need the air support. Attack all the way to the bridge, then wire it for demolition. And agree, I couldn't hit anything with the mortars. I think spotted arty is bugged in the game. (Awesome map, whoever made it.)
  6. Ok here's a trick. Engineers can wipe a room out if you can blast in through a windowless wall.
  7. Marines in faluja would back out, and rig the building with explosives. They demolished the whole building.
  8. Its silly. In reality, the time between lasing and pulling the trigger is a split second. You wouldn't have time to pop smoke. You may have a second if it's an older t72 shooting. The laser bore is off from the aiming recticle, so you have to adjust aim slightly after lasing. Even if smoke is out, firing unit already has your range (he just lased you), and will fire through the smoke anyway.
  9. Pbem. Red (russia) attack blue (ukraine). Ukraine was in sw corner. Russia had blue setup zone in town. I'm on pc. Not sure about opponent. I'll ask him.
  10. "Town-Water 275 attack" map has the defender/attacker setup zones reversed. I opened it in the editor, and I can't figure out how to fix it.

  12. Rocket systems, especially grads should be ingame. Not everyone here plays small platoon level battles. In battalion plus sized battles, it's nice to have real world options available.
  13. I would be happy with DPICM artillery rounds. The artillery assets are already in the game, but the ammunition isnt. ???
  14. CBU 105 and CBU 97? I just looked at all the US air support. No cluster bombs. General purpose bombs are not what they are going to be carrying in this kind of conflict. The real life tools the U.S. has to deal with mass armor formations are not available. I see the Mavericks, but every F16 going out with 4 mavs is gonna have 4 cans of CBU also.

    DCIPM are not for area denial, thats FASCAM (which also isn't in game). DCIPM is artillery designed to destroy armored targets.

    Well thats a shame. I cant believe its not in the game. Cant properly simulate a modern armored war without it. The U.S. has it, and uses it currently. So do the Russians who have not signed the treaty. And its a game changer. MUCH more so than precision GPS rounds. I recommend you fellas play some Steel Beast some time. It wil make a believer out of you.

  18. Its predictable, and total waste. All the QB attack maps are designed to drop pre-planned arty on the attacker. I'm the attacker. I wait 1 turn to see where the arty is going to fall. Then I just wait 5- 10 minutes for AI to dump all his arty, then attack 10 minutes late. The battle would be tougher if the AI didn't waste his whole load like this. Its just a map deign flaw. Does anyone know where the QB maps are located in the directory, I think I'd like to edit this out of them all.
  19. How many large maps are there? 3K plus?
  20. It's only the most ubiquitous artillery system in region. Silly not to be included. Not complicated either.
  21. At what ranges? This is undesirable if I'm at 3500k, and a t72 is lassing my hull down SEP2.
