Sergei
Steve gave a permission to post this shot of a Stummel crew: When I saw these mugs, I immediately became attached to them and started thinking of their personalities... Commander: "Ach, there's five Shermans ahead... and probably more behind them. But with luck, we will surprise them, and, well, one thing will follow another. Max, are you ready?" Gunner: "I think if I just stare at them intesely enough, four of them will burst into flames and the fifth will just melt." Commander: "Good. Private Biffsky, get ready to hand over hollow charge shells!" Loader: "Oops... could someone hand over a clean pair of pants first..."

ChrisND
The gunner REALLY needs a cigarette loosely hanging out of his mouth.
Magpie_Oz
Looks more like to me the loader is: ".... take the train back home then grab a bus , then when I get to Dusseldorf I can look up Helga and maybe then we can..... wha? ... sorry what was that about shells ? "
Smeel
Isn't that the saddest face you've ever seen? I can't fight that, it's like kicking a little puppy
scottie
great screenshot and sorry to bring it up again ... would be a nice features to see all units names as opposed to just commander for the reasons stated above ... you become attached.

panzermartin
Wow, is it me or are the faces 100% better than CMSF. They have personality.
Sergei
Wow, is it me or are the faces 100% better than CMSF. They have personality. The artists have done an outstanding job. The years of experience really shows everywhere. Also, for fun, here's a comparison from 10 years back: "Hey, your face looks familiar! Are we related?"
Stagler
How come the faces on these guys and on CMSF are so much better than the ones on CMA?
LJFHutch
How come the faces on these guys and on CMSF are so much better than the ones on CMA? Because a good face means too much individuality ... dang commies.

Sergei
How come the faces on these guys and on CMSF are so much better than the ones on CMA? Different artists. CMA was made by Snowball, a Russian company.
Boo Radley
btw. who'se face is that from BFC-staff? It would be interesting to know who modeled for the various faces. If they were friends, family, staff... victims.
Sergei
It would be interesting to know who modeled for the various faces. If they were friends, family, staff... victims. Fortunately, with modern technology we can determine scientifically who the mugshots were based on. Let's see... ...okay, someone seems to like British pop stars?
Asmodeus
It would be interesting to know who modeled for the various faces. If they were friends, family, staff... victims. Yes, it would be interesting to know. Ain't that what small developer studios do anyways? So Battlefront, please step forth with your answer! (or include Actor-list for the end credits of CMBN) But I think Sergei's answer is more close to reality than we dare to believe in.

Not even close.

Magpie_Oz
Taking the faces of their victims ...... Is that the reason for the mysterious lack of hobo's around Battlefront HQ ?
panzermartin
Hmm..that also explains why death animations are so much better than before
zukkov
i think the guy in the back has that "please mr. custer, i don't wanna go" look. the other 2 are a bit more confident in their expression. with regards to what models they use, why can't us players send in our mugs for potential game modeling? :-p
