ChrisND
I foresee this thread having a short but exciting life span.
gibsonm
T-54/55 Fume extractor near the muzzle.
bodkin
Don't know about the tank but it appears to belong to 'Crack' unit.
John Kettler
I concur with gibsonm. Would bet it's some form of T-55. Turret's too high and wrongly shaped to be a T-62, not to mention that the bore evacuator's on the muzzle end of the barrel. T-62's is located in the middle of the barrel. Sivodsi
Don't know about the tank but it appears to belong to 'Crack' unit. I would say you're scaping the bottom of the barrel with that one.
Secondbrooks
T-55. Could be T-54 too, but i'd say T-55. early model without AAMG mount. -Ventilation system isn't visible. That is my conclusion that it ain't T-54 Just look at english wikipedia and look for white tank, if wishing to understand the thing... It should be visible atleast partially and i don't see it. gibsonm
Well I guess as you wont declare a winner (or at least identify the vehicle) its time to say "Hi Mum" before it gets locked up.
Splinty
It's a T55, a T54 didn't have a bore extractor.
gibsonm
Well I'm afraid my copy of Jane's (and endless AFV recognition sessions) doesn't agree. It mentions that both had the bore evacuator just behind the 100mm's muzzle. Of course it doesn't really matter here because the original poster doesn't appear to be interested in an answer, just generating whimsical comments about the people draped all over the vehicle.
SgtMuhammed
Is that a field expedient wash rack?
