Omi
It didn't look like the usual engineer explosive charge, it exploded on impact and destroyed both my halftrack and a building(that didn't have 2 damage points). I didn't hear the rifle grenade sound effect either. Could it be a normal grenade?
Omi
A pocket 150mm gun maybe?
Slappy
I'll venture a guess. I'm not sure what it was, but the 'Hit' seems to indicate a hand weapon of some sort. The graphic looks like a standard grenade as I think sachel charges are tan and grenades black. I think whatever it was, it causes a catastrophic explosion to the HT (ammo store hit) which in turn took down the building. I don't think the initial explosion had much to do with the building dropping.
Redwolf
The "Hit" message only appears when squad-level weapons hit or when indirect or mortar rounds hit.
History Buff
Just below the house that is about to be destroyed, looks like a small black grenade. Halftrack is open topped so I think there is a good chance of letting off some ammunition inside. Failing that a rifle grenade, but my bet is on the grenade.
Rabidbvr
Hello one and all... looks like a grenade hit to me ... demo charges are light brown... or a back pack nuke.. may have been the moonshine or the foul ersatze beans for dinner we will never know...
kingjames
I have seen this before. I do believe someone in the house was cooking meth.

Lord Harmes
I think house must have not known what to do and just exploded out of embarrassment!
SpitfireXI
I witnessed something unbelievable like that yesterday. While my British Paras were fighting some Italians in a trench, my Spitfire actually strafed the Italians that were in the same trench. My troops were about 20m away and the Spitfire shot at the Italians. HAve you ever heard of something like that? Seems very unrealistic to me. I mean it's one thing to strafe troops in a trench but another to do it when friendly forces are in the same trench.
Pzman
You'll find that friendly fire from air craft happens about 50-60% of the time it shows up.
MikeyD
I've seen grenades thrown into open topped vehicles - especially SP artillery - cook-off a vehicle like that. Imagine those stack of artillery shells lining the walls in that confined space. KABOOM!
Michael Emrys
You're all wrong. Clearly this was an instance of BFC testing the prototype of the nuclear grenade I requested. Very prescient of them to anticipate my desires so accurately, I'd say. Michael
stikkypixie
What halftrack is that? From the picture it looks like it has a big gun, maybe it fired a shot but the shell landed too close...
Pzman
I believe that it is a 250/9 with a 75mm L/24.
yacinator
i did a test with a 251/9 halftrack with an infantry squad throwing a grenade at the truck from a 2 story building and the halftrack blew up like it did in you picture

Michael Emrys
Don't forget the kraut. Kraut is the icing on the cake—so to speak—for beans and bratwurst. Michael
