I am in a 2ooo point qb (cmak) night battle. When I noticed my opponents men turning and shooting each other, I found it very funny. But on the next turn I noticed one of my squads quit firing at the enemy and start shooting at my flank squads platoon leader. This I do not find to be the least bit humorous. Someone please send a pigeon or something

The emails are in txt, but the whole file is on the face of the email. Where the ones that are not a problem are just have as a attachment. I use outlook. The emails that cause me problems , when I open them, it always says searching for hyperlinks. And as I mentioned all the text is sprawled across the email page. Also, one of my opponents emails always says autoresponder.

Just wanted to throw in my two cents. I don't use pbem helper and it is a real bugger for people that do , when they send me email. When I open it to save a pbem it takes forever for my clicks on the attachments to work, it keeps searching for hyperlinks and such. And I for sure can't reply back to the original message, just trying to type in something is a pain. Does anyone know if there is some adjustments that can be made? Some settings that I can change?

It has only happened to me once. At the very beginning of a qb, he sent some german car flying through my lines and straight into some scattered trees, killing my only artillery spotter. Plus it had me giving away all my positions by firing at him.

If you would like to find some pbem's I would also suggest www.theblitz.org .It is free, plus you can keep track of your career as a commander. As for how you missed this series, I would be interested in how you found it. Myself, just happened to be lucky looking through reviews on a website(something I usually don't do) Combat Mission Beyond Overlord was rated about the highest and I downloaded the demo. I haven't purchased another game since, other than cmak. Good luck and don't worry you will find plenty of help. Haven't found a better bunch of gamers out there.

I also have disabled a KT with a Stuart. And like you it was after I had lost 3 shermans and a Hell cat. If I remember correctly I bounced 27 shots off the KT over 1&1\2 turns as it came over the hill. I was sitting in the bottom lookin up. It them proceeded to toast them one by one. After the carnage I put the stuart on suicide mission and it flanked and disabled the King. I also took out a king with the m18, attacking with 3 at once, and got behind it. Beasts they are. At the moment I am trying to figure out what I am to do in a current pbem game. I know he has at least two tigers, and a couple of armor cars, I have two m4a3's and a stuart. I am kind of out gunned. Say your goodbyes now.

I wouldn't call it a rookie tactic. It has been done to me by some folks in the top 30 at the blitz. But boy does it throw a wrench in the works. You have to go back and redo all them commands if you had them on move to contact. I only consider it gamey if I lose. But if you are in a meeting engagement I would think it shouldn't matter since it is supposed to be a 'chance meeting'. I question the guy that flew up to the buildings and flamed them all where as I would have no positon to attack from, is that better or worse than letting the men gain the building in the middle and THEN proceed to blow them down with the big guns, routing my troops. From my prespective it is as I have heard in some war movie, expect the unexpected, adapt and over come , ... blah blah, it is early and I will quit rambling

umm, really stupid question here, I guess I have never tried an exit scenario, or didn't realize I did. How do you know if it is a exit scenario, Is there a big blue sign? I know of one scenario that should of been, a few boys from texas. What a meat grinder

When I was able to get on it for this week I read on the home page that the guy who takes care of this stuff is away for the week, and that it should be up and going shortly. Hang in there

I meself would like to see the american indian wars, between tribes or between whites and reds. But actually give the indians a fighting chance. Or perhaps a game set in the tone of age of empires , except with the realism that only battlefront can do. The barbarians, huns, roman empire and what ever else falls in the catergory. But if we must have lots of guns, hows about a futureistic WWIII. With all the super powers at the top of their game. But most of all I would love to see the pacific battles, which I know they do not want to do. I guess it really doesn't matter, as long as we get to shoot something

Thanks for the info. No sooner had I posted than someone sent me the scenario 'A ranger last stand'. of course a company or two of rangers without arty or armor against a couple of companies of germans with 3 tigers does not sound so good,..
