silent one
I appear to have one of my Ukranian 6 wheeler IFV immobilized when I drove it through a plowed field. is that normal or a bug? This is in the middle . Not smashing though a hedgerow or something. Edited February 10, 2015 by silent one

Depends on the conditions, if it was "wet" than farm land is a very risky area for vehicles.

Done the same with 4x4L M-B ML 270GL, which is excellent off-road vehicle in many aspects.
Kieme(ITA)
The middle of a ploughed field is a potential trap for any kind of vehicle if the conditions are right... So, it's not a bug at all. Edited February 10, 2015 by Kieme(ITA)
Cpl Steiner
Using "slow" move orders reduces the bogging chance I think. Also, if you drive over a fence or hedge at speed you risk damaging the wheels or tracks. I have seen the damage indicator change from green to yellow when doing this.

Speed doesn't affect bogging chance or track damage.
Placebo
I had one of my russian main battle tanks immobilised by a plowed field, they are better than anti-tank mines
George MC
Also mind that 'bogging' also represents vehicle breakdowns/track thrown etc etc.
Vanir Ausf B
Also mind that 'bogging' also represents vehicle breakdowns/track thrown etc etc. It actually doesn't, but I sometimes pretend that it does to help rationalize when it happens to me
LUCASWILLEN05
If bogged try reversing out of that area. This will sometimes get you out. If you are already immobilized then there is nothing you can do - you are now a pll box! :-)
agusto
Speed doesn't affect bogging chance or track damage. Do you know that for sure? Any sources? I always thought (i am pretty sure, actually) that going fast over wet ground increases the chance of bogging in CM. Maybe ll have to look at the manual again.

slysniper
well, the one thing that does seem correct is that the plowed field does seem to be a high risk area for bogging. So it is one to learn to avoid at the present time unless you are willing to have it happen. I had a T90 Bog in a field and thought, oh man this is terrible. But somehow he was just located perfect for when the enemy showed up he was in a perfect overwatch position for the rest of the force and actually became the leading units in kills all from his immobilized spot. Sometimes it just pays to be Lucky
