noob
I'm more interested in seeing if CMFI passes the Kettler test than i am in playing the actual game, this is because i have a bet with a friend, so if it does, i'm definitely going to be arrested for exposing myself in public, however i'm pretty confident it won't, and my neighbours will be safe.

noob
Well, the grass isn't Normandy green. Hehe......i'm more concerned about the vineyards, if JK finds a scenario where a grape is present from the wrong region there will be hell to pay

Lt Belenko
Hehe......i'm more concerned about the vineyards, if JK finds a scenario where a grape is present from the wrong region there will be hell to pay There was a thread about tanks immobilizing when running over a wire fence. Someone said grape vine wire would get caught in the idler wheels of tanks. Was this taken in to consideration for CMFI.
GerryCMBB
Got a great giggle out of this! The thought of a wargamer exposing themselves?! Did the bet state that it had to be to the poor neighbors? Gerry If i had to run up and down my street naked then it would inevitably be my neighbours that got an eyefull, so to speak
John Kettler
noob, Are we talking will I be able to figure out how to play it, will I find it meets my standards, or both? It's important to be clear about these matters! Regards, John Kettler
noob
noob, Are we talking will I be able to figure out how to play it, will I find it meets my standards, or both? It's important to be clear about these matters! Regards, John Kettler I have no doubt that you will figure out how to play it, CM is like No Limit Hold 'Em, easy to learn and difficult to master. Whether it meets your standards is not for me to say, however what i can say is that, to me, you have become a cult figure on this forum, and i mean that in a nice way, in fact this thread should be regarded as a compliment to your dogged adherence to anecdotal evidence and the relatively polite way you express your self whilst under intense fire from your own imagination

Vanir Ausf B
I think the question isn't will CMFI pass the Kettler test, but will Kettler pass the CMFI test, i.e. will he ever win the demo scenario?
John Kettler
Vanir Ausf B, Good one! We won't know until that demo's out, will we? I have won one CMBN Demo scenario a couple of times, but there no consistency in the outcome. Minor victory, for example, followed by being whupped. Lots of gaming mileage left in the CMBN Demo for me; have barely touched its potential. Regards, John Kettler
