Indeed.  From my perspective the crew spotted the trenches first before even seeing the Panzerschreck team. And then when they did creep forward they didn't see the enemy AT team until they got a mouthful of 'schreck.
However, the T-70 did his job.  😁

Me neither, probably explains the question.  Google is a little vague on the matter...
    Okay I found this:
The first construction of a bridge over the Elbe near Lauenburg took place in 1878. This was blown up by the company's own troops at the end of World War II to prevent the advance of British troops.

Just wanted to say that BFC are not Matrix/Slitherine and vice versa.  From memory BFC decided not to release the Black Sea module in the current circumstances, and publisher Matrix/Slitherine agreed with them.  If Matrix/Slitherine proceed with other 'similar' titles, that's nothing to do with BFC.

In CMBN manual, it's written in the map editor chapter and it corresponds to what WimO wrote.
Never found any informations on that in the CMFB manual which is very limited.

I've had that on at least two Panthers in recent games.  One on a road under artillery fire so just one of those 💩 things.  The other in a forest with no LOS in and a single round arrived, that was more 💩💩💩.

I interpreted it more like a mutual understanding.
On a more lighter note (or heavier): I'd rather they publish more content on an existing conflict instead of releasing a game about a 'fictional' conflict.  If for example they release Combat Mission: Tiger Dragon, three years later China will invade Taiwan! We've already seen it happening twice.

@FlammenwerferX's luckiest artillery shot ever.  Somehow this one landed right on the deck killing my entire SMG HQ riding on the tank in addition to KO'ing the tank and killing the entire crew as well.
    Ugggh.

I have a very vague recollection of reading that CMFB would only have two types of hedgerow, "Hedge" and "Low Bocage", and that for movement purposes they would be treated the same, unlike in Battle for Normandy. Obviously, now that I want to find it in the manual I can't.
So I just ran a quick test with a Locust and a Jeep. Both made short work of the low bocage....

The 'desire' (or belief) in the more clownish part of the electorate may have been true, but the "lack of commitment" in Europe was not.

Elvis provided an answer in the Black Sea forums, as this thread apparently was started in three different forums.

I always thought all hedges in CMFB were passable, despite looking similar to the "low bocage" from CMBN. Perhaps I shall have to re-read the manual.

Thanks Ian.  In my mind I thought I'd done that, but I suppose I might have been a bit sloppy about it.  Minus 1 Pershing is the result.  Such is war...

I would very much like for the Ukrainian strategic strike campaigns to stop being “symbolic” and start shaping the battle space for re-engaging in offensive operations.  Symbolism is great but destroying Russian abilities to effectively defend an 800km frontage with a highly degraded military are much better.  Further, “symbolism” is not going to keep western support coming…operational gains that push the Russians back will.  The thumbnail sketch plan:
    - Re-establish denial of air and ground.

    - Hit the RUAF hard and keep them well back.
    - Hit The RA where it hurts…logistics, enablers and C2.  Prioritize artillery and EW.
    - Hit the SLOCs.  Hard military targets that move all that hardware and people to the front and then up and down it.
    - Solve for offence.  Stop using FPVs defensively now that artillery is showing up and use them offensively en masse.  Saturate bridgeheads and try bounce crossings at scale.
    - Re-establish forward momentum and get the RA reacting to them, not the other way around.
    - Bite, grab and hold….repeat.  Eventually, if we are lucky, corrosive warfare will work again and the RA will have to re-set like it did in Fall 22.
That is one helluva bill to pay but it is the one in front of the UA and the West to support.
Do not waste limited military high end hardware on “symbols”…use it to kill the Russian war machine.

There have been a couple of articles in reputable publications lately stating that the DoD has been staging equipment in anticipation of a yes vote, so that delivery can be started immediately. I guess that's one result of the delay in approval. The DoD had a couple or three months to get organized so they are ready to go.

I have no problem being the bogeyman. English is not my native language and I am not particularly good at either English or French (both learned at school).
I'm happy when people understand what I want.
But if you have serious problems with my English, please open a ticket on Google.
It's unfortunate that no one addressed the content.*

In CMBN, CMRT, CMFB, CMRI, bocage (high and low) blocks the movement of everything except armour equipped with bocage cutters.  IMO this is not entirely historical since infantry of both sides in Normandy managed to force themselves through the bocage at various points when gaps did not exist. Historical bocage varies in thickness, height and density anywhere from scrubby to double rows back to back.
In game, there are two other ways to get through the bocage. Both require blasting, the first with satchel charges and the second by long bombardments with direct fire HE against a single point.
It is up to the map or scenario designer to add sufficient breaks in the bocage to create a reasonably playable scenario.
