So if that was true - how come a supposed raping/terrorizing SS soldier was never accused in Nuremberg and instead got a Canadian citizenship?
Shouldn't that be a big no no in 1954 when there was a ton of witnesses alive and Canada itself fought in WW2? And he wasn't the only one who got the citizenship by far. I mean if he is a war criminal then he should've stood trial. There were 78 years to do it, no? He wasn't hiding.
But now he is a war criminal out of the blue without the trial or proof because exactly ignorance.
If SS Galicia committed such horrible crimes against locals - we would be seeing evidence of that every step of the way as Ukrainians are rather touchy regarding traitors of their own during those times. We would be seeing court cases all over every territory and from relatives they tortured and raped. No? Certainly not getting citizenships in Canada.
Or maybe they were indeed used to fight russians.

On the beach... Vierville Draw

Looking towards the Vierville draw, the troops are held up by 3 wasp nests, which are tough to crack as not many tanks have landed to deal with them...

Troops huddle in craters or anything that offers some cover from the constant mortar fire and the hated MG fire...

The troops fire at the WN with little effect...

Some troops are panicked and try to retreat to the cover of the Hedgehogs and destroyed landing craft...

The situation is the same to the left of the draw and progress is slow... but another wave of troops are soon to land and hopefully they may do better?

Eventually small groups of Infantry and Rangers attempt to get to the sea wall... if they don't death is almost certain...

This musters the troops and with hate for the enemy they move off as fast as possible in a sprint to the sea wall...

Contact has now devolved into a full scale donnybrook.  @FlammenwerferX's men grit their teeth and lay into the oncoming German's.  One of my scout teams almost walked on top of a team of ambushing Soviets which ended quickly in the death of my scouts.  I think his men were waiting for me with their entrenching tools.
Ironically, some of the heaviest fighting in the last couple minutes has centered around a church and cemetery. As bullets start cracking through the air my troops scamper for the stone wall.

Otto Skorzeny's Men on the march. Imo opinion not properly modelled they can drive all the way in unchallenged.

It was suggested by an Austrian Military Channel to use Leo1 for infantry support. He was using the word Stug the Centurion 20PDR was also used for this role in Vietnam. Interesting the new US 105 mm system is just introduced the specs at first look surprising similar to the Leo 1 same weight and same gun.

We are in that space where there has been no contact and with each passing second the tension grows thicker.
