"3 Mortar" Loyd Carrier from the AT section of the Support Company. Inventory shows the 2-in mortar.

The same inventory after the driver "recovered" the mortar and a couple of HE & WP rounds:

The dismounted driver. He likes his Enfield so much that he threw the mortar away…🤬

I did the same test with a variety of units, and the result is always the same. The 2-in mortar never appears in the recovering unit's inventory.

Lots of those problems are solved if you play on Iron. During the replay phase you can see which units can spot friendly units. Keeping units in C2 comes more natural now and fight as a formation and not as individuals. I just noticed playing as US how much better a Hellcat spots on par with infantry. He had a strong tentative contact the Sherman nearby didn't. But I let the Sherman fire at the same building as they shared the same C2. The superior 75 mm HE took out the MG42.

That is likely to be the reason based on current information I have.
StG guy are just using single shot at 180m while MP40 guy fire short bursts.

The first test I did is to have a StG, MP40 and PPSh team area fire the buildings at 180m distance. I only did this test one time so maybe I need to retest it couple times, anyway the table below records how many bullets are fired
      0min  1 min  2 min  3 min  4 min  5 min  StG44 0 53 97 151 194 251 MP40 0 126 248 379 492 624 PPSh 0 77 167 227 308 392
PPSh also seems to love single shot when area targeting the building. But I noticed them were using full auto/ short burst when facing the sturmgrenadier platoon (need more test to confirm that).

FYI, I did a test compare a 3 men StG 44 team with a 3 men MP40 team at 180m distance. I would say, MP40 is twice deadly as StG44

And then in a different test, I put a platoon of PPSh in front of a platoon of StG 44 at 180m distance. The StG 44 platoon is decimated in less than 3 minutes
Will send a report in general discussion later this week.

Nope - it is as @IanL has explained.  If I don't want one side to surrender in a scenario I am making then I bung in reinforcements that do not arrive.  It has nothing to do with point values it is about the number of troops and auto surrender is triggered when the side in question loses about 65% of its starting head count.

You got an FO. Find the Flamethrower Platoon, click the 5th Flamethrower then click the (+Key) on your Keyboard and you have him. He doesn't belong to any other formation.

Key Terrain is relative depending on the unit. It is a spot which provides cover and concealment for the task at hand. For a scout it is different than from his Regimental HQ. For the scout the KT is his commander's intent his KT is to carry out his commander's intent and staying alive.

Imo opinion it is not cheating. The Old Masters had their toys too. Camera Obscura literally Dark Room, the Master sat inside his Dark Room and a Peephole reflected the image of his subject upside down on a White Wall. With mirrors the Master traced this image on canvas. That is how some photographic like images were painted in the 17th Century. More or less the same we do with Software on the computer.

When you get a clear incidence of an act of war you can't wish for it to go away. A dictator will take the go away wishers as weaklings. The plain truth is decent people can't go back to do business with the Kremlin.

This guy cheated Goring saw it as his patriotic duty. But he fooled all the experts by painting the old masters himself. Died in 1947 imagine what he could do with Photoshop?

Yep I agree, although strangely, I understand the opposition...  I like it, and is great for making time period images?

It's still hit and miss and the AI doesn't know what real time period weapons are ie, Sherman tank, but you can get some ok stuff, the engines regularly ad a fifth finger, and other strange things but it is getting really good, I personally would never try to pass off a AI image as real but AI does have it's place, in illustrating images for articles and blogs etc...
I made a set of British Infantry from WW1...

Look at that expression and fear...

    Getting movement...

Again the face of what is about to happen...

Make the viewer think how bad it must have been????

But the AI really shines for me in producing images from another age, before photography existed?????

    Viking warlord...

    First Punic war...

    And on a lighter note..

    Guess who?

So the quality of the AI images is in the prompts the better the prompt the better the image, love or hate it it is here to stay.... Very scary on a grand scale and this is just the beginning?
