  1. I think if youre hitting a target which youre barely able to penetrate then you will have a less chance of knocking it out with a penetrating hit. I have had IS-2s survive many penetrating hits from either a panzer iv or v, cant remember. I think a panzer iv. Anyway I have found that conscript tanks have significantly higher survivability. They can take a ton of penetrating hits before being shown as knocked out. I'm not sure why thats the case, but its always nice to recrew a panzer thats been shot up and find that most stuff still works.
  2. Seriously. All this over their overlay which doesnt function properly and crashes very often. Steam and Windows are both crapware.
  3. To start they completely rearranged the entire OS and made it child-like. The search function is nearly useless.. etc etc.
  4. I very highly suggest you alter your hotkeys file to something better
  5. 100% agreed. Conscript foot troops are too inaccurate at range but are able to fight realistically in urban areas - something green can't replicate. Green troops are much better for open anything except city or town fights. Regular troops are just too insane at times, acting like fearless cyborgs. For the vehicles concript hits the head EXCEPT the bogging rate is INSANE. I don't even want to talk about it, it's SO STUPID. I have vehicles bog on ABSOLUTELY NOTHING all the time INCLUDING ROADS! It's SO FRUSTRATING that battlefront refuses to make their games realistic and instead opt for everything to be call of duty. SO MUCH FOR REALISM! As for the honing in on targets, yep. I used 45mm guns on a huge map with very long lines of sight. The AI was picking off my armored cars with ease from over 3km away (Probably 3.5-4km) while they were travelling perpendicular to the guns. The AI gets too accurate once they hone in, it's like a laser beam. And that's with conscript guns.
  6. I have definitely chipped in with my opinion that crack troops are not realistic whatsoever, its like playing call of duty.
  7. Kerch, Rzhev, Oder offensive, Stalingrad in particular saw full strength divisions disappear in something like 10 days.
  8. I also feel like reversing offers a higher chance for unbogging but it might just be because of this. Thats if it even helps in the first place
  9. But who volunteered to drive the truck?
  10. To be fair at this point the Soviets were driven back hundreds of miles. The Germans were nearly to the Don and were very close to severing the last remaining rail line to the caucuses
  11. I think his initial thoughts were the same as mine. It appears that the young woman is wearing makeup. Her complexion looks unnatural. I could be wrong.
  12. They should really consider adding an airburst functionality to these drones, theyre a bit too inaccurate when they strike
  13. Almost certainly to maintain a high degree of readiness and combat experience/real training in the ranks.
  14. infantry running through walls seems to be an error of some sort with the retreat function. I've never seen infantry run through walls otherwise.
  15. cmrt when mounting troops onto t-34 early, the troops load up one by one and run from one side of the tank to the other until every man has loaded up.
  16. Yup. Also if I remember correct you get an additional two keys/activations every six months with your battlefront purchase. Either way you never have to worry about your activations even if you share your game with a friend. This is a well known secret. Just make sure they buy a game or two to support the series.
  17. Seriously. I've already stated we dont have a good use for the abrams fleet anymore. They made sense for a european conflict, but 6000 MBTs is too many for use in other conflicts.
  18. He may have, but the comment I'm referring to was about the division, not the army. And it was probably the winter of 41-42.
  19. Lol yep the "six" panzer division. I think I remember hearing that from a David Stahel audiobook.. probably Barbarossa.
