I am so tired of this entire line of thought.  Sure the UA has legacy Soviet doctrine but 1) what is wrong with Soviet doctrine - there is a huge assumption that Soviet doctrine was ineffective and somehow did not know how to manoeuvre, which is patently false, and 2) And ignores the other factors staring them in the face that are making large scale manoeuvre impossible.
This is straight up western arrogance built on a foundation of ignorance.  Until someone from the Pentagon can explain how we would successfully operate under the same conditions (no air superiority, ISR every where) using “mission command and manoeuvre” of course.  Did anyone ask the Ukrainians why they are using fires first?  Did anyone stop to wonder why manoeuvre has failed for the Russians as well?  Nope, too easy to blame it all on “Soviet-era” doctrine.  This “us-centric” analysis is frighteningly similar to what European observers of the US Civil War walked away with…and it cost them dearly.

There's not enough political dissidents and members of revolutionary parties in the ranks to organize the soldiers st the moment. 
 
As a side comment, I wonder why there is still a Leningrad military district, given that it's been st Petersburg for a long time now and the Mafia clan running Russia has openly insulted the memory of VI Lenin, even blaming him for Ukraine's existence.

These fools want the power and respect of being a global superpower and absolutely none of the responsibility. I'm convinced that if Russia rolled into the Suwalki Gap tomorrow that half of the House GOP would refuse to fund the military.

Haiduk if you don't like Western values then return all the Western help you've got. Maybe some country that doesn't have the LBGT and genders will help.

Do you really think people in Europe don't use the word "woman" anymore? Dunno what right-wing nonsense you are consuming, but I would stop, otherwise people might come to the conclusion that more aid to Ukraine is not necessary since they apparently already got bombed back into the stone age anyway.

When I argue with Ukraine skeptic leftists who aren't full bore vatnik, I like to encourage them to think of the war as partially rightwing infighting, and to see the elimination of both sides' fash elements as a positive. 
I think it's only logical that these groups are against each other in the end, because they're death cults ultimately based on domination, mythical belief in the superiority of their specific in-group, and never ending conflict. If your belief is that brave men are only those who die in battle, how could peace ever be an option? Victory is not only unachievable, but to be avoided- no more conquest and no more manhood.

So the denazification is not a total lie after all but it is known that war attracts the most primitive/far right elements from both sides. Probably serves each side's government well if the extremists elements eliminate each other.
