@KGBoy Given the fact that you made no mention of the "Acquire" command in your OP it wasn't easy to know how far your knowledge of the game stretched. And you didn't help your case by later referring to the British 6pdr as a "12pounder".
Getting extra ammo can be a bit tedious that is why I tend do it during the Set-up Phase when the enemy aren't shooting at my men or my supply vehicles.

@umlaut You're spot on, they do all carry the 2incher, rather than a Bren. And given the fact that it deploys automatically you can't "undeploy" it via the UI. From what I can tell the guy with the mortar will only begin using his Sten once all the HE rounds have been used up, unless the target is inside the mortar's minimum range of 20meters.

I don't remember there being a "promised" release date of 8th January. @BFCElvisdid mention the fact that the 8th is the birthday of the lead singer from Bromley Dave and the Self-publicists. Of course my old eyes may have missed the word "promise" and I am happy to be corrected on that.

Which is just as well given the fact that it is the last refuge of a scoundrel, as someone who wielded a much sharper quill than mine once said.
And I also like the British 2in Mortar. They came in handy when Paddy wanted to fire off bottles of Guinness to his mates without getting his spud thick Mick napper shot off by Gerry.

You have to use the "Acquire" command from the Special orders section. If in doubt check the manual.
Remember that during the Set-up phase all movement within the Set-up zone is free. You can swap units in and out of the Jeeps as often as you like, and even move the ATgun crew out so that other troops can "Acquire" the small arms ammo from their Jeep, and then remount the AT gun.
In a scenario like this where so many of your men are carrying Stens I would take all the 9mm ammo I could get before starting the battle.

The v.2 folders that l have use the "smod" name format, so I'm not sure why yours is different. Anyway I'm glad that you got it sorted.

If you go to the Mod Warehouse's CMBN Infantry section, they are on Page 4 near the bottom.

Imagine Hitler's reaction if he knew that nightclubs and music stores would be in his Flak Towers one day!
Oh, come on. Everyone knows that Mad Addy was a massive dance music fan. He only pretended to be into Rickie Wagner and the Bombastic ****e Band.

OK I've had a chance to go back to the folders where I store the mods which I'm currently not using in the campaign I am playing. The v.2 versions of the US Infantry Uniforms (both Khaki and Olive Drab) mods date from 6th April 2013. Only my Airborne mod comes from 2011.
-
I thought that both the CMBN Khaki and Olive Drab uniforms were dated January 2019. as for providing a "link", I refer the Honorable Gentleman for Topkickingham to the answer I gave regarding marbles being lost at an earlier sitting of the House.

It was certainly a lot better than Xmas '44. And the chaos of the spring '45. But it still couldn't have been much fun.
Of course there weren't any "Brits" there, although there was a number of British troops in the city. As for "Soviets", they were freely elected workers councils, and ceased to exist when the Bolsheviks banned any non party member from standing for election.
-
I've been playing marbles and losing for some years now, so know the feeling. As for losing my head, at least it didn't happen until after my death. In the meantime the uniforms do look great.
-
I'm using the (CMBN v.2) version of this mod with Engine 4 and they work perfectly, as my wounded guys from the 79th Infantry will be able to testify once they are released from a field hospital just off of the N803.
I think the v.2 version was based on mjk's original work, and it should still be available from the mod warehouse.

Hahaha.
I did actually have an Uncle Bob. He emigrated to Australia, and became a Mormon. What a plonker, as Del Boy would say.
Now about these Fire and Rubble updates, where were we?

Lol, I thought Barking (mad) was 3 stops short of Dagenham? Maybe Bedlam is 4 stops short? Either way, yes, I guess I did.
Nah, me ol' China. You're finking ov Dagenham 'eathway which comes before Dagenham East.
I used to have a mate who worked at Fords, somewhat unimaginatively he was known as "Dagenham Steve".
And "Bedlam" now home to the Imperial War Museum is served by Lambeth North which is on the Bakerloo Line, a different kettle ov fish altogevver.

Having two AT Guns limbered to jeeps with a separate driver, and one where a member of the gun crew is the driver is sometimes called a "quirk of the game", or in less polite circles a &%$&%$* *** %$£*&^% .

I've heard it said that the Dead Puritan is a pedantic old codger. He even hurls abuse at the lovely Tony Robinson when he says "Ancient Brits" when talking about iron age Britons on Time Team. I'd ignore everything he says.

To be fair, she was a lot better looking, but that expression is dead on!
Are you implying that you drove her four stops short of Dagenham East?

History is replete with examples of reports being dismissed or ignored cos High Command "knew better". Think of Op Market Garden where recon showed the two SS divisions near the Brit drop zone - and the info being dismissed as it was unwelcome.
There was no "Brit drop zone", although there was a British one.

Send a ticket to the help desk, should be sorted very quickly.

I've not seen the "Dismount" command being "greyed out" when playing this scenario in WEGO/Turn based. I move the jeep during the first turn, then dismount and unlimber the gun with no problem. When something like this happens to you it is best to provide a couple of screenshots to illustrate your problem.
-
One thing to bear in mind about hedges, low bocage and high bocage, some scenario designers will place them on impassable terrain tiles eg "heavy forest" so your cursor will turn red if you move it over them. However, if they are set on a passable terrain tile then the cursor remains green giving you the false impression that your vehicles can drive straight through, that is why you need to know the difference between the three different type of hedge.
Troop Facade British ammo exchange -- How the...?

@KGBoy No, you won't need to re-install. You obviously didn't practice acquiring ammo from the trucks in the "Devon - Basic Training" campaign.
Your Jeep drivers do not "give" ammo to their passengers, they can only take it for themselves. Click on the unit that you have put into the Jeep and then click on "Acquire", and take the ammo, then dismount them. Their ammo count will have gone up, and the spare ammo count in the Jeep will have gone down. Hope this works.
