  1. @NPye I hope that you get things sorted soon. The helpdesk is always the best place to go. I have reworked a couple of the Konev battles, and will share the details with you once you are up and running again.
  2. Wanders in, feels crunch beneath my riding boots. "Oh dear, I just trod on a ?"
  3. Up in heaven Alex taps Crommers on the shoulder and says, "I'd like it made clear you fecking sassenach, that no one called Charles died during the making of that record."
  4. Hopefully once you get RT to run again you can take a look. In the meantime I'm sure there will be other forumites along to offer their thruppence three-farthing worth.
  5. I think the mod has the potential of providing a couple of decent campaigns. Sadly, some of the flaws from Version 1 with regards the scenarios themselves remain, e.g. victory locations missing or not matching the briefing, poor deployment both of initial set-up troops and reinforcements. The most extreme example being "Kroll Opera House". Not only is the Opera House NOT marked as a victory location, it is also covered by the red Russian set-up zone. But, this kind of thing can be ironed out. It depends on how much time Nigel has, and how much help he gets.
  6. One suspects that with me in charge Marshal Konev will be receiving a visit from the NKVD.
  7. I'm going to kick off with "Konev's Opening Moves". No orthodox crosses to offend my puritanical eyes. And I do like the look of the loading screen mod.
  8. Two suggestions from an old duffer - "Hitler's Heralds" by Nigel Jones. It covers the Freikorps from 1918-23. And, "Rosa Luxemburg" by Elzbieta Ettinger.
  9. Some sources state that the two in Berlin in 1945 had been found in Smolensk during Barbarossa and had been taken back to Berlin as museum exhibits. In one video that I've seen, traces of the white/red/white British stripes can still be seen. The one in your picture being used by the Freikorps scum has had it's British markings obliterated by the Iron Cross. Also, they've used a version of the skull and cross bones common at the time, which can't be seen on the tanks from 1945
  10. Yes, you're spot on. Being a slow reader I still haven't finished Sammy the P's diary. But, once that is out of the way I shall be diving into "Berlin" by Sinclair McKay.
  11. Speaking of 1919. On my one and only visit to Berlin more than twenty years ago, I did have to go the Landwehrkanal where the scum dumped Rosa's body after they murdered her, and shed a tear or two. Of course, that comment might be regarded as a tad too political for this forum.
  12. Following an exchange of messages about towers and domes with Nigel, I found this photo of the Polizei Presidium near Alexander Platz. Even Val "Here's one I made earlier" Singleton would struggle to mod this.
  13. I like both shots. But, I don't think anyone would have a level crossing in front of their railings.
  14. I think you're wasting your breath on him. Elizabeth run and tell Mrs. Axeman that we shall be needing hubby's services a little earlier than usual this year.
  15. Walks in notices a dummy lying on the floor. Ho hum.
  16. Give it a rest son. If you don't have anything constructive to offer I might have to call on Mr Axeman. He needs to get his swinging arm in before the 30th Jan, or Bonce Napping Day as we call it in the Commonwealth.
  17. I'm still losing scenarios from the Battle Pack in my usual fashion. But I have downloaded V2 and will give it a look very soon.
  18. A similar thing happened in the Moltke Bridge scenario from the earlier mod. Hopefully this will get sorted soon.
  19. Loving the new images from Berlin. I got "Berlin" by Sinclair McKay for Xmas. Although it will have to wait until I've finished Pepys before I can dive in to it. Elizabeth raise her eyes from her bowl of goose stuffing mixture, "I thought you'd banned Christmas, make yer friggin' noddle up."
  20. A great series of screen shots. But, I don't think "Phase A" could be called a "Town", it would be stretching it a bit to even call it a hamlet.
