Initially this rumor was shared by Russians milbloggers. Then maybe it was cought and shared by some "experts" like ISW and Bryan has read it and repeated as own inside. But. Almost after first appearance this rumor was refuted by other Russian milblogger. He told 3rd FL regiment is deployed in French Guiana and guard Kourou Space Center. Servicemen of this regiment live in Guiana permanently and they are not allowed to leave the country during their service. Also 3rd regiment hasn't artillery, so they just can't assist Ukrainians in this.
Maybe French friends will tell more about this. 
PS. I doubt also that 54th brigade is in Sloviansk now

It's a mistake to consider anybody, belonging to nation only by his place of born. It always important what the person thinking about own nationality.

In that time Ukrainain-origin intelligensia and nobles were divided on two parts - one kept own national memory, other, much bigger considered they are Russians or at least "Russians of Malorosian origins" ("lesser-russian origins"). Several days ago UKR troops gained control over Nestryha island in Dnipro estuary. But local commanders hurried to report to high comamnd "island is ours!" and this was issued in daily GS report, when UKR troops didn't firmly secure the island and gained foothold. As usual from both sides local commanders don't hurry to report about lost positions higher in order not to be fu..d and try to solve the problem by own forces until the fail will be obvious. But when higher HQs know about fails in first order from enemy official reports or social networks they fu...k lower HQs in 10 times harder, so Russians several days have been assaulting heavuly Nestryha, but without success. Their attempts are continuing. 
 
Reportedly UKR troops after mass fire and FPV strikes managed to expand zone of control in Krynky on 1km more to west

Unknown facility, likely military storages were in fire near Luhove (rus. Lugovoye) village in Saky district, Crimea. On eve Crimean "authorities" reported about several "shot down" ATACAMS
FSB in Crimea enforced control over local TG channels and "authorities" stopped to issue any info about places of strikes, especially in rural areas, so now it's more hard to know about strike results.   

First visually confirmed attempt to intercept Orlan-10 with FPV drone. Alas, unsuccessfull. FPV turned out too light and it engines too weak to overcome air stream from Orlan propeller. It couldn't approach to Orlan. Maybe solution is a non-contact fuse.

PS. Probably 7th. There was a post in Twitter one tank as far as before battalion reached the front turned over and has broken the gun. Likely it was repaired, but knowing how long time it takes, probably it still under repair to this time.

Russians activated on Berdiansk direction and assaults Urozhaine village. They managed to seize farm and tractor workshop on southern outskirt of the village

Rare episode of tank-vs-tank. UKR T-64BV has destroyed Russian probably T-72 in frontal semisphere. Two BMPs with assault groups, followed T-72 turned and retreated after the tank has gone

About developing of warfare by spiral again %)
Since Russia unable to use A-50 AWACS close to our borders, it flooded our space by long-range recon drones Orlan, Zala, SuperCam, which with rotations are may to observe large squares of frontline and in the deep rear. Reportedly only for one day up to 200 UAVs can be spotted behind out lines. UKR side just hasn't enough radars, EW assets and SAMs, SHORADs etc to cover all frontline to prevent penetration of such number of drones in the rear. Except all of this we have large lack of anti-aircraft missiles of all types, including SHORADs and even MANPADs 
Yesterday likley as experimental act of desperation training Yak-52 was use to shoot down two Russian drones over Odesa oblast. Like in WWI times second crewman takes LMG in the cabine to fire at the drones. BTW this flight was successfull - two enemy drones were downed. And this is obviously more cheap method, than waste missiles. There is a one problem - risk of friendly fire, because small aircraft can be similar on radar to the drone

Reportedly Ukrianian forces became to use almost noiseless night FPV drones. Here is UKR drone slowly follows for two Russians and despite the range is no more 15-20 m and this is a night, Russians don't hear it.
 

Sounds good, but private Mykola with PKM on second crewman seat is cheaper that R&D and producing of such system )))
