Hm... I don't know either to count them or not. From one hand they are former police officers, on other Justice Officers, non-military.
Those two were eliminated today in Luhansk Prosecution Office:
General of Justice Sergey Gorenko (though he was born in Ukraine and had Ukrainian citizenship, I give his name in Russian spelling), General Prosecutor of LPR. In 2014 he worked in UKR police and had a duty of chief of one of departments. Betrayed and defected to LPR. In 2019 became the chief of LPR Prosecutin Office. In February of 2022 personally on cameras shot with howitzer at UKR positions
Colonel of justice Yekaterina Steglenko, deputy of General Prosecutor of LPR. Before 2014 worked in Luhansk oblast Prosecution Office. In 2014 defected to LPR. In 2016-2017 served in MGB of LPR (analog of KGB). Since 2017 appointed on the duty of General Prosecutor deputy

And now for something completely different. As you remember some time ago RU captured Pisky once more time. Well, it seems they are going capture it again some time in future - there are still UKR troops around Bridge Republic. From that 56 brigade that RU destroyed several times.

Whether it's good or not, it's here. I've created a Stalingrad campaign map, and semi-historical Mastertoe (reduced for September) for it as well. I used material from Glantz, Joly and youtubers to research. I spent way too much time learning about the preliminaries too, crazy stuff.
I present an Army level assault on a huge map. It will take place September 13th - September 30th 1942. There will be two turns per day, with one battle per grid per turn possible.
The German TOE is 6th Army (One from 4th Army) which had four infantry divisions, two armored, and one motorized. They will be reinforced with two more divisions later on. The Soviet TOE is the 62nd Army in defense which contains too many divisions to list.
The campaign is being hosted on TheFGM since I am able to split teams with a password: https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/thefgmforum/forums/cmrt-top-commander.493/
Formations will start full strength instead of their historical strengths, despite numerous and specific infantry/tank strength reports.
Everything is being hosted in a program called "Geccos" which is similar to vassal. More about that digital campaign tracker in the link above. An image of the campaign in Geccos is at the bottom. It only shows troops on the front line to start.
Supply, Ammo Dumps, Signals, Medical are all planned.
More detailed information at the link above
On September 12th, LTG V.I. Chuikov replaced LTG A.I. Lopatin as commander of 62nd Army, and thus the defense of Stalingrad. That night he entered the city and observed the burned out wreck that was left of it. He was driven 800 meters behind the front lines to 62nd's Army HQ to meet General Krylov, 62nd Army's Chief of Staff and Commissar Gurov. The next day the German Assault on the city would begin.

    Hi guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster here. I have been reading these boards since early March and I have to say that this is the single best source on the internet I have found to find out what is actually going on on the ground in Ukraine. I also really respect the way you guys generally keep it civil and the community you have built with things like the laptop for Haiduk. So massive respect to you all from me.

One question I have, if I may. Something I have not seen a lot of discussion of recently is that early in the war the Ukrainians were terrified of the Russian Air Force. There was a lot of pressure to "close the skies" and a lot of debate about how NATO trying to run a no-fly zone / SEAD mission could easily escalate into war. But we have not heard much recently on this front. The Russian Air Force are absent. My question is, why? What turned the tide?
I know the Ukrainians managed to disperse their fighter jets and miraculously are still flying six months later using highways to take off. So that is one threat. And there is the MANPAD threat and those MANPADs are all over Ukraine now. We have the British Starstreak system went in. And we saw in July that the US announced some NASAMS systems (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System) that went in.

But is that it? If you guys have time I would be interested in your take on what exactly turned the tide in the air war here. Apologies if this topic was previously addressed in some of the posts on here (it is a challenge to read it all).

Anyway thanks again for all the hours you put in making sense of this conflict to the extent that you can in the midst of the fog of war.

    Slava Ukraini!

There were some recent articles on a noticeable decrease in the earth's rotation.  I believe if they calculate the increased mass of Zelenski's balls we will have found the cause.,

Probus got a reaction from Lethaface in Stupidest, Boneheaded Thing You'll Admit to Doing in Combat Mission
OK, I've done a lot of stupid things playing Combat Mission, but this one takes the cake:
Playing a great PBEM game in which I was doing really well.  I only had two tanks.  A pair of Stugs and I moved both of them up to take out one of my enemies' Shermans.  Moved my first one right up, found his Sherman and POW! up goes his Sherman in flames. Drunk on my victory I move my second Stug up to look for another Sherman he has poking around and BAM! right into my own minefield. 😵 My Stug is completely destroyed.
That has to be the stupidest thing I've done in Combat Mission I think, but no, its not over.  My first tank, the one that took out the Sherman has also, just barely, entered the minefield.  So I delicately back up and KABOOM! another mine goes off destroying the tank.  And that's it.  Both my Stugs I destroyed myself in my own minefield.  That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever done in Combat Mission. 😳
Anyone else willing to share and help me reduce my shame? 🙏

Speaking of full mobilization. That commie, who was screaming for full mobilization because it's war and not "special military operation" and russkies are losing bad - got absolutely smashed in comments all over the russian internets.
People were demanding for him to get arrested, go fight the war himself or just die - in no particular order.
As it turns out your typical russian "civilian" is more than happy to watch people get killed on TV from afar deep in his wooden barrack, but somehow doesn't want to take part in regroOpings and good will gestures himself.

Yeah. The other problem is that at the current rate of advance, Ukraine will have to stop liberating more towns soon, because they will run out of flags to raise.
