We went yesterday a lovely road trip by "Dacia" to Saumur. @Falaise avec his 2 sons. For privacy I will not give their names but they were wonderful young chaps age 14 and 16 with excellent knowledge of history and tanks. We laughed and got along very well. A memory worth a lot to me.
But I saw only one book on Stonne. It was in French only so I did not purchase. A different tank than Eure. It had a light blue upper surface on the turret. The rest was 2 shades of green I think. I should have been cheeky and photographed the page!

Loyd carrier has a bug. Both CMFI and CMBN.
Starboard side roadwheel does not turn.
3D modeller was tired that night I guess and typo named it whee5 instead of wheel5 in the model data.
I fixed it and it now turns.
I could offer the fix to the community but I would miss out on time and opportunity. I wouldn't be alive 58 years if I didn't know what I was doing!
EDIT: Here is the Loyd Carrier mdr fix for CMFI and CMBN. To me this is a hobby and part of a life-long love for WW2 history, so I can work hours and hours and actually make stuff. "Make mods, not excuses."

I built some fun roadblocks. But my image host site is acting odd. I will post screenshots later when I can.
It uses 2 new haystack flavor objects. These 2 flavor objects are placed over a hedgehog obstacle that has a transparent texture. Still needs testing to see how she behaves.
I would love to show them but imgur is still acting odd. So mon ami @Simicro gave me a new one. Merci Tony.

Merci Laurent. I like them.
I am boarding the ferry soon and will be in France later this afternoon.
I saw the Bovington Char B1 bis and in a few days I will examine the one at Saumur. Maybe at Saumur I can get better documentation for Eure.

I am not a foliage mod guy but I scratch my head when you said you wished they were taller. Can you put them in place of tall yellow grass or extra tall green grass?

Making the shell is one thing. Finding where to host it can be really tricky. There are only so many slots. Worse then as a scenario is designed. It gets even trickier to have conflicts between axis and allies for who is allowed on the stage at the same time.

I am headed out in a few hours on a 1 week trip to Europe to see a few tank museums and drink alcohol with forum buddies. BFC has (not) funded my trip to do research for their new early war title...
QUESTION FOR ANYBODY/EVERYBODY. In CMFI, the Italian tank crews have their leather helmet, they also have in the files, the leather helmet with feathers for Bersaglieri vehicle crews. HAS ANYBODY SEEN THAT WORN AND WHAT FORMATION AND WHAT VEHICLE? Thanks

I am at my office job and not at my normal PC for CM stuff. hmmmm. Try to select by color the black part and then try "selection to alpha". Honestly my CM toolbox is GiMP, paint.NET and an old hacked copy of Photoshop. Each has evolved to have a specific thing i use it for based on my limited brain and limited skills. But Photoshop is my go to tool for alpha layers/channels.
Sometimes I close GiMP and then fresh open an existing CM bmp of another flower or plant doo-dad to study the format. Reverse engineer Soviet-ski 1950's style.

It has 2 MG's and they both fire. It has a 2 man crew. It is lightly armored and about the right speed.
I have to do some markings still.

Wow, almost 3 months since I opened this thread and decided to try and do FRANCE 1940.
We have the BRONZE out there. 16 folders of initial mods and 4 FR40A scenarios.
Now we have the SILVER out there. It contains: a patch folder for BRONZE boo-boos, 4 folders of BRONZE "plus ups" (extras), a bonus scenario FR40A STUG HUG, then the SILVER mods (8 folders) and 6 FR40B scenarios.
Looking forward to GOLD...I have 7 mod folders that will most likely grow to 8 or 9. Special stuff I have just done like the roadblocks. I have several FR40C scenarios in the works.
Do you want to write a scenario for the mod? Hold on! Let me have somebody cuter ask...

More on the roadblocks. I was happy to see Infantry seem to have to zig zag through in a realistic way. They definitely did not just glide through like it was not there.

I tested the 2 roadblocks as flavor objects with the transparent hedgehogs and it acted odd.
I now have the 2 different roadblocks in the game as 2 knocked-out trucks (US 6x6 and the Italian Fiat truck).
They get in the game by the scenario author knowing how the mod works and knowing how to do allied versus allied -or- axis versus axis purchasing.
They are deployable by the side that "owns" them and when fired upon they give the sound of a truck being hit and can eventually light on fire. They block movement of vehicles.
