  1. It's a very good mod, a pity that 3D models behave that way.
  2. As I pack and zip the Bedford Truck Mod, the Tiger Late is getting ready for a new release, ( wheels are to be modded next and then new decals too, a lot actually).
  3. VERSION 2 May 14th, 2012 Tigers equipped special heavy tank companies and battalions (schwere Panzer Abteilung - sPzAbt) both of the Army and Waffen SS. Army units (sPzAbt) were numbered from 501 to 510, while Waffen SS (sSSPzAbt) from 101 to 103. Tiger I was armed with powerful 88mm gun (originally developed from 88mm Flak 36 L/56 gun) that made it a very dangerous opponent for any Allied tank, and its thick (but not shot deflecting) armor made it virtually indestructible. Both Sherman with 76mm gun and T-34/85 stood a chance against Tiger only at close range. It is reported that in July of 1944, commander of 3rd company of schwere Panzer Abteilung 506, Captain Wakker, destroyed Soviet T-34s at the range of 3900 meters. Photoreal samples of mud, dust, stains and Hi-Res Photoshop brushes were used to mod this vehicle. 7 Decal Options.
  4. Nope, sorry, I don't want to work in vain
  5. Waffen SS Crew Pea Dot Camouflage by Nik Mond: Here:
  6. The King Tiger it's now quite out of place when placed with his little brother (or the other way around...):
  7. +1 ( aligning of textures in the corners is brilliant, no repetitive patterns either and blends perfectly with the terrain)
  8. Trying to improve my Tiger Mods to version 2. Still quite a lot of work to do, (including decals, of course).
  9. Thanks a lot Silkwraith, much appreciated. Regarding the King Tiger, I would really like to improve the look of it, but I remember reading in the forum (don't know where it's hidden now) that the devs planned to improve the texture, the 3D model of it or both. So I am still waiting. Enjoy the other vehicles meanwhile and, thanks again. P.S: i haven't weathered it yet, but I modified it a bit to enhance some panel lines and desaturate it. I will post some pics later...
  10. Yep, looks like a mipmapping issue, ...there should be just a single alpha channel (if there is any...what I doubt) in charge of the job too. Open GL may have some issues when handling these files here anyway, so don't expect to solve the problem with Photoshop...There are different LODs (level of detail) encrypted in the mdr file possibly which have mipmaps assigned for reducing graphic computing times...To sum up, something to be fixed with some 3d editing,(z buffering is my guess) so ...nothing we can do...My 2 cents.
  11. Air conditioning ....hehe, serious, no idea...
  12. Oh man, decalling, finally,... I got so frustrated with these ones at first that I started to refine my previous Tiger Mods,...expect some more news soon, as Version 2 it's coming along nicely...
  13. Let's see, something related with the 3rd or 4th Canadian Division (or maybe 31st Armd Brig, XII Corps...?¿),
  14. What a crazy vehicle to mod,...frustrating it is for sure. (30 Photoshop layers so far).In the first pic you can see how front fenders are mirrored (in and out). Modified the tarpaulin for a less dramatic folding effect of the inner bars (check second pic on previous post and the second pic on this post for the difference)and removed contrast for a softened look of the canvas. Work goes on..Mickey Mouse I hear?
  15. A very difficult vehicle to add weathering to due to how texture are arranged to cover the 3D model...Work started on the Bedford Trucks...
  16. Thanks Splinty, glad you like them, I am changing the way I mod for the Lloyd Carrier, trying to learn something new and modifying stock textures before adding weathering. I hope you like it now, I consider it a slight new approach to how I have been modding these months since I change base textures before anything is added (weathered) now. Some payware PS filters I bought helped me do the trick...
