Geez.. just got done the Road to Berlin scenario and have to say. At times the AI arty can be way off and at other times I got nailed pretty good. It sure makes the AI game more suspenseful with arty like that.

I have a Nividia GTX 450 going into a 40" LCD HDTV at 1920 + 1080 resolution. It worked great for CMSF and the CMBN demo works well too. Very pretty.

I would have tied up the goat herders and muzzled them until after the operation was over. If they resisted then I would make the hard decision to deal with them. Unless there was so many of them that this was not practical. But its easy to say all this after the fact. I wasn't there. I remember reading that book "War" about an OP called Restropo. The soldiers mentioned a place nearby where a bunch a of Seals where killed and the remains of the helicopter are still there. I wonder if this is the same incident.

that would be neat. if the game could do that then you could also have victory parades with fireworks going on at the end of each game. I don't think they are included.

On April 20th Moon said the game will be released "within the next 14-21 days" 21 days brings us to Tuesday, May 10 if my math is correct. Steve said in this thread that they are looking good to hit this target. If Moons announcement is the one he was referring too. So if all goes well we should be blowing stuff up next week. Wooohooo

They don't respond to these type of demands or threads. I have seen it over and over and they don't say squat. They have us or at least the fanboys by the short hairs and they will do what they want when they want. I kind of respect them for that I guess. If you want a rise of out of them. Yep I did the same thing, even backed up the emails I got from Battlefront, especially the Normandy one.

I liked when i whacked an IS2 with a Stug in a PBEM CMBB game onetime and my opponent pulled a hissy fit and bailed on the game. He was so proud of that thing, thinking it was going to dominate the map from a lofty position and my lowly Stug took it out. Frontal shot too. Was the IS3 a better hunk of junk than the IS2. Did the IS3 see action anywhere at all. Even post WW2.

I'm happy with CMSF's interface and I could care less about Battlefront advertising. Thats their business.

It might be a PCO troll but unfortunately this game does attract the Nazi fan boy type. I once played one in a PBEM long time ago. His emails were interesting to say the least. He was full of theories and conspiracies why the Allies were the bad guys and the Nazis were the good guys. I didn't really get mad at him and become offensive. I tried to argue with him but I found out soon enough that was a dead end street. So I chalked it all up to deluded brainwashed noise. I never played him again. It was funny too as he picked SS formations with lots of Tigers and Panthers and everything was crack or elite. Typical

I was never a big fan of the CM1 computer generated maps. Later in my PBEM career I leaned towards custom maps. So no biggie for me that their is no computer generated maps.
