  1. I am not sure what you are seeing. WTII will copy the new turn file to the game directory and leave that one file in the drop box folder. Once you play your turn it will move the new file to the dropbox location and clean up the previous file. It should only keep a single file per game in the drop box folder and in the game files folders too. There is a turn archive feature that copies all turns for a game into a sub-directory under a folder of your choosing. I would recommend that folder *not* be in drop box since it can get really big. Can you clarify which place has more files than you expected?
  2. Hang on those module icons don't look right. Is this CMSF 1.x? Did you install 2.x over top of the already installed 1.x? If so I don't think you should do that.
  3. We all are, we all are. Can you elaborate on the problem and your solution? The FAQ thread has a section on performance that has helpful info for tuning nVidia cards if that is relevant:
  4. That was not one of the supported scenarios. Heck there was not a full commitment to making all CMSF1 scenarios open in CMSF2 but it was the desire and many of us spent a lot of time testing CMSF1 scenario files. I do not believe anyone tested game saves from CMSF1 - I know I did not - because that was not even a stretch goal. Sorry, unless someone official contradicts me I think you are out of luck.
  5. Excellent. I have work to do to make that path to the games folder Forrest automatically more often.
  6. Is it possible to disable the authoring of new posts? It would be appropriate for the transfer period.
  7. Are you saying you would not cross a visibly damaged bridge? Are you sure about that
  8. It is actually causing damage. There are no partial damaged bridge models and skins so the bridge itself will go from looking brand new to destroyed without warning. Yes, you can destroy bridges with artillery and direct fire. Yes, that is intentional As @Sgt.Squarehead pointed out (teased?), you can also use IEDs to destroy bridges. This is an often asked for feature that BFC have so far declined to implement. Some threads that discuss this:
  9. Well that's a bug - probably. The QB maps that came with GL should not be flagged as requiring GL - I think. I am not 100% sure because I have never seen an internal conversation about if a module's additional maps should be usable with out the module. I just never really thought about it to ask the question. Here is what I am sure of: GL added a non trivial number of QB maps. I do not know the count though. The reason those QB maps are flagged to require GL is because there is still a selected unit in the units list. This gets cleared when actually used but its presences flags the map as requiring the module. It seems like handful of maps accidentally had a hanger on unit in the list that should be removed. I will seek clarification.
  10. I'm not seeing that. CMSF is not shutting down smoothly at the moment
  11. I think so / hope so. Best thing to do is contact support and they can guide you in the right direction.
  12. Agreed. And I suspect many others will agree with that sentiment as well
  13. LOL that was my experience too. It took me forever to find the images after. Just a word of warning I find that the screen capture has a habit of just stopping from time to time and to fix it I have to install the update for GeForce experience. It feels like an apple product in that regard. And a couple of times after an update I had to re-enable screen capture again.
  14. Yeah sorry I extended the off topic train of thought there. Onwards to Rome to Victory.
  15. If that's the way you feel you can stop posting your complaints any time. Please.
  16. If you use Nvidia cards then GeForce experience has built in screen shot taker that works very well.
  17. Yeah very strange. Hopefully another windows update will restore order. Only other thing you can try is a full uninstall and reinstall.
  18. Interesting. I am have a similar problem with CMSF. My CMBN is starting and stopping fine. Yes I just installed a Windows update too.
  19. I have no idea. My i5 and 760 are working fine. I do not recall reading about this before either. Possibly go back a driver version. Or wait for a newer one.
  20. The direct answer is as @Xorg_Xalargsky said. If you are programming this behaviour with the AI you can do it with triggers - they will not with draw until the enemy reaches the trigger point. A human player would not face such restrictions. There are a couple of other things you could do: Forget the exit requirement and just make the time tight for the attacker. If the defender can delay the attacker from getting the town they win. Make it so the points mean that if the defender just abandon their positions they get a loss of some level. Allocate the points so that they can only win if they cause enough casualties or prevent them from getting the town.
  21. Cue the people who *would* like CM South Pacific.
