  1. Grrrr.... yes I'll take look when I get home. Anyone else hit this stumbling block?
  2. And I think I've PDF'd and uploaded the wrong version of the read me. That'll teach me for finishing this off while I'm flat out at work and other RL matters. Link below should be with correct Read Me. @IanL - Try copying and pasting over following the instructions in this read me. http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3847 Apologies.
  3. Simply not possible until BF makes that kind of information avaialble to the player post battle. I remember seeing the artillery one being mentioned a number of times on the forums but the others not so much. My little tool relies entering data regarding whatever info is at the players finger tips once an engagement is over.
  4. Cheers IanL, hope you enjoy. This whole system is based around being the record from the view of one person. The next step would be to expand it out to a new 'sister product' that is an all encompassing workbook for campaigns between multiple opponents - that is popular with the CM club scene. It's doable but qutie a bit of work. It will be tough to hit that sweet spot where it's a useful aid to most campaign managers who work with different rules sets to represent operational level play. Something that works out some key stats for each battle they can quickly edit in the Editor OOB's would be the first step. Anyway would need buy in from different campaign managers (and time) before I commit to such an undertaking.
  5. There's a PDF read me that's been updated for this release. Part of that read me is about carrying over your results from the previous version. (Towards the bottom). There is also a video on my YouTube channel about how you go about entering results for the 'super-noobs' of Excel. If you know how to push keys of a keyboard and copy/paste you will be fine.
  6. Update is up. http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=3847 - CMFB Ready - Go beyond 2015 on all the graphs - Bits and pieces to explore.
  7. Glad you liked it. Hoping to get the updated version out this weekend.
  8. Yep well aware of it and nothing that can be done unfortunately. Using MS Excel on this end.
  9. Area denial... I thought that was the whole purpose of fire on the battlefield, planned or otherwise. I think the community keeps banging on about fire not solely because flamethrows are available for targetted burning, but because the possibility of spontaneous fires from exploding vehicles / HE rounds / small arms tracers flying through the long grass on a dry day simply can't happen yet. Dynamic wheather (particularly changing wind direction) could be a good way at preventing us players from using it in a gamey fashion - particularly in QB's. But hey if my opponent wants to sink their points into additional falme thrower teams and light that wheatfield up, go ahead. Not going to stop my company of T-34's from rolling over it.
  10. Thanks! A small 'rough' scenario but not in the league of 'Kiwi Soldiers.' I really wanted some mortars for this one.
  11. A mixture of many but I know Waclaw's latest is in there.
  12. If you need something to hold you over until release. JuJu's mod in action.
  13. Lovely work. Please share once it's done.
  14. Umlaut are you planning on doing the same for the infantry uniforms like some of the work you did for CMFI-GL? You can really notice the difference with some 'dusting' on the uniforms and gear.
  15. I've always thought there was a good correlation between wargamers also being data nerds. If wargamers can argue for days over armour angles and gun calibers, they probably also have an interest in having a record of all their past glorious victories and unmentionable defeats. Given I have the artistic ability ranging somewhere between stick figures and... well that's about it... I created a fully automated Excel Workbook a couple of years ago for the data nerds of the community. The idea is the player enters results from the 'After Action Report' screen plus a few other easy to obtain bits of info about the battle just fought such a force selection, date, weather etc. Once entered the workbook goes away and automatically creates lots of pretty graphs and a record keeping service for all time. Over the past few weeks I've updated the WW2 version of the workbook to have it ready for CMFB. I've also taken the opportunity to throw in the following new features: - Added a new column for Aircraft Destroyed which is now possible in the WW2 titles. - Better filtering options for some of the automated graphs and tables. - New CMFB relevant locations and force options. - An automated 'Campaign Ribbon' award system. (Think Achievements - but both silly yet diverse enough to see how much of a dedicated CM player you are) - Numerous behind the scenes bug and error corrections. I hope to have this released sometime over the weekend following my loyal tester "Mad Mike" gave it the all clear. I just need to write up a new Read Me document. Anyone overly curious can find the older version (including the CM Modern Era version) over at CMMODS: http://cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/?p=134 And for those sending in queries about my YouTube channel, I'll get back to it when real life settles back down a bit. Preview pics of the new version below. Thanks and hope you enjoy.
  16. Could it be vehicle specific / case by case issue? I haven't had much a chance to get my teeth into CMFB yet because of RL, but I did notice playing one of the larger scenarios with Gustav Line (sorry name escapes me at present) that the StuGIII crewman appeared to have a deathwish, and loved popping up to man the external MG34 whenever there was a free chance. Even when I'm telling them to stay buttoned on account of nearby enemy infantry. Perhaps it sticks out with the StuG more than other vehicles. Lose the first guy not nice but you can cope. Lose multiple and suddenly you don't have enough crew members to fire the main gun.
  17. Pretty sure it also occurs when the guns are being reloaded but that doesn't appear to be the case considering all the crew are spotting in this screenshot. (And I'll admit all three at the same time is highly unlikely). Bug?
  18. Good news and a great resource if this keeps going/expanding. If you ever decide to start adding in community made scenarios just let me know and I'll pass along the details of the ones I've made.
  19. Sounds exactly like the an individual file name issue for each of the BMPs a few of us raised earlier. Look at the file names of the uniforms that work and the ones that don't. 99% chance the ones that don't work have a different name, probably from before the 2.0 upgrade to the engine. Helmets weren't touched in that upgrade, hence why they work. You'll need to rename and number them precisely for the game to pick them up correctly. That's an interesting and dedicated way of getting mods there Kohlenlau.
  20. Looking nice. Apologies for my inaction in testing recently, snowed under with work in RL and building a house. Haven't even had a chance to play the demo yet!
  21. I don't think BFC would have to model anything in this respect. When a bunch of PzIII's come over the sandy ridge and all you've got is a line of infantry armed with Lee Enfields I'm sure the player will do it themselves.
