For anybody interested I have many hundreds of scenarios & campaigns (apparently all will be playable in CMSF2).
I got rid of a bunch of duplicates/older versions & renamed a lot of them so they're easier to sort out...

    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1mu30n0qsjw3sk0/AABb-_fnlr21dLxGVv6a7VAVa?dl=0
... I estimate there's about 800 scenarios if you include the campaigns.

Yes we all know it's gone, and as I understand it, it's not coming back, but is there any plan in the works to release all the file to CMMODS/Scenario depot?
    Thanks

What a bunch of p´s here. Losing their stuff, getting offended and hurt over nothing, and engaging in mass wall-texting like some hyenas just because some guy loves to post alot of off topic (15k posts goddamnit JK) and who believes in Nazi UFO´s and super suits, who gives a damn get over it, reading some this stuff even washed my eyes clean hah! I also think last time when I got full looking for home in Pendleton 2am I also saw one of those Gestapo Messerschmitt UFO´s or perhaps I was just full. Whatever you all show some self-respect and stop confuse Geisha balls with real ones. Those words are not intended for you JK, you are a hell of a crazy dude but it still takes a man to stand constantly getting squeaked at by over-sensitive boys. Amen.

AkumaSD reacted to tpr in CMSF2 Sniper Anti-Materiel Role Showcase and Experiments Video
Seeing my sniper teams engaging enemy vehicles with decent success I was curious about their capabilities in that role and how everything works under the hood. I´ve made an experiments video:
Note: The Syrian vehicles in this test are basically made blind and this in no way represents the usual spotting abilities of the vehicles. They´re also set to immobilized (red engine, tracks) and to 50% crew quanity which also means that the casualty figures from penetrating hits in a real game scenario would be way higher, especially for crowded vehicles. I am a novice when it comes to the editor if there is a way to set enemy vehicles to being passive let me know.
    Some of my observations:
Naturally it is hard to tell what effect your sniper fire will have on the vehicle. I´ve observed vehicles getting abandoned by the crew after one hit while others remained in (limited) operationality after 10. My conclusion is that it won´t usually result in quick knock-outs but in damaging vital parts like the engine or taking out crew members severely hampering the vehicle´s ability to perform its duties (mission kill).
In an engagement the tactical AI of the sniper team always keeps its role, threat, and effectiveness in mind. When not issuing manual target commands, the sniper would probably first engage infantry units, especially close ones, it then would proceed to engage vehicles. When the sniper then let´s say spots a BMP and a BTR with frontal facing he would take its own weapon effectiveness into consideration and engage the BTR because of the higher chance of causing penetrating damaging hits.
However the sniper is also able to take the facing of the vehicle into account and would prefer to engage a BMP with his back facing towards the sniper because a BMP and its explosive ordnance may pose an bigger threat to the sniper, thus highly likely is also a more important target than an BTR. There is also less risk involved to get spotted by such an vehicle although this is probably a side effect of the other AI priorities.
You can also observe that the penetration values raise with closer distance and at 400-500m frontal penetration of some vehicles became possible in the test. However never engage an BMP frontally from that close distance and wait for a better shot or reposition. Also do not stay too long in the same position or take to many shots in quick succession because this naturally rises the chance of discovery even by low-tech vehicles. Watch out for vehicles with sophisticated optical tech such as thermal vision. Taking a shot and quickly reposition may be a viable option in some cases. Moving vehicles especially low tech and high speeds are also good targets but don´t take it for granted that they don´t spot you, this is especially true again for high tech vehicles.
If you want your snipers to focus solely on anti-personnel duties and to not engage armored vehicles. You can achieve this by setting a tiny armor target arc for the sniper team, vice versa is also possible but with enemy infantry danger close the sniper team´s self preservation may take the upper hand.

I have been trying to gather all the game manuals. (you used to be able to read them on the old battlefornt.com site) I have found all others but the British Module manual evades me. I would be thankful if somebody could provide me with the British Module manual.

Okay...I took a deep breath and I still don't get why us guys have not heard anything....not a GD thing...Am I really being this unreasonable or am I losing my GD mind over this BF deal.   Maybe I should visit my neighborhood shrink and seek their advise on this matter.  Or Should I just fire up my XBOX ONE and fire up some bad guys to calm me down.  At the end of the day I know that I am without a doubt one of the most dedicated customers that BF has and I will heed the advise of you all and just chill.

    Hi everyone,
Here is a cinematic video featuring Shock Force 2! This is meant to be a showcase, similar in concept to a gameplay trailer. Keep in mind this is footage taken from a beta build of the game, and things are subject to change and all that. Hope you all enjoy!

It’s worth pointing out that Battlefront is a small enough company that a major emergency for any one of the employees would be enough to wreck any posted delivery windows. Sometimes those emergencies are the kind that really consume you, and it may not be possible or appropriate to publicly talk about it because, a) it would reflect poorly on the business, and b) it’s just too personal to share with customers, at least while it’s happening in the moment.
I know some would say the customer is owed a notification about this sort of event, that it’s the burden of running a business. However considering Battlefront’s size this is a good reason why they might prefer to keep dates less-than-defined. If one person becomes suddenly unavailable or OBE, it’s not like there are other teams that can have their priorities switched to ensure a certain deadline is maintained.
I say: why freak out? If you are a preorder customer and you feel like you’ve been swindled, just cancel your order. If you have difficulty with that, have your credit card company reverse the charge on grounds of unrendered service or w/e. If it doesn’t bother you so much then continue to hang out and live your life while the gamesmiths finish forging their newest title. Nuff said.

Nah. This crap always blows over the minute the games get into our grubby hands. Then a new kind of b****ing starts!  This is the typical pre release frustration. It's probably worse this time because it's been over two years since we've had any new modules or titles.

For the record, Grogheads.com takes no official position with respect to Battlefront one way or the other. However, our members possess a variety of opinions that we encourage them to express, be they positive or negative. Wargaming is a subject we are all very passionate about obviously, so sometimes, some people have difficulty expressing their views in a rational, calm manner. I know I'm stating the obvious, but I just want to go on record by stating clearly that the opinions expressed in our forums belong to those of the poster.
Personally speaking, I have every CM game ever released. Yes, I've been frustrated with the DRM and licensing and the delays, but it never has, nor will it ever dissuade me from buying a game in the series if it appeals to me. Shock Force 2 is eagerly awaited.
I encourage anyone here who strongly supports CM and Battlefront to hop into our forums and represent. You are all welcome.

Well it's now Friday September 21st.  74 years on the forth day of Operation Market-Garden.  The Allied only serious defeat of the war.  Just thought I would mention that.  Anyway September is almost over and still no demo to keep us occupied.  What's up with that.
