  1. Excellent job! Thanks for doing the work on this.
  2. Love your work. This kind of stuff needs to be included in the next patch!
  3. Front page is updated. Looks like it's now out for everyone! Huzzah!!!
  4. Excellent map! Great suggestion afreu. Thanks.
  5. The wait is getting to be too much. All I want to do is give BF my money!
  6. Sounds like some nice changes were made. Looking forward to going through this again. Thanks for keeping it updated.
  7. Downloading now based on your suggestion. Sounds fun.

  9. I'd recommend playing through the demos for CM:SF and CM:A and then snag the bundle when it comes out. Of course if money isn't an issue for you then get one of the existing combo packs.
  10. Have you guys received orders from Syria?
  11. This made me chuckle. I hope you figure it out. The British stuff is fun. Good luck.
  12. Haha, thanks! Nothing really to explain. I wish I had something witty to say but I just couldn't think of anything else. I have to admit that your sig made me laugh when I noticed it last night. Bah, yeah, my bad. I guess I didn't read his post correctly
  13. Hitting the ESC key when playing RT pauses the game but allows camera movement and issuing of orders. I hope I read your post correctly, seems like the game already supports what you're asking for. I still enjoy playing WEGO on small maps with a 30min time limit.
  14. I find a nice middle ground when I play in RT but use the pause key to issue my orders. This obviously doesn't work in multiplayer though. Playing the game in full RT is too fast for me and turn based is a little slow for my personal tastes.
  15. It keeps me entertained when playing offline. The Op Arrowhead demo has enough content to give you a good view of the overall game.
  16. Oh I'm right there with you. I rarely play ArmA online. 99% of the time I've spent with it has been in the single player campaigns and missions. It's definitely not a online/bots only type game. I consider myself good at the normal online shooters but the people who normally play ArmA online are super dedicated and routinely kick my ass. They also give people the option to play any of the campaign in co-op with friends which is pretty fun but I've only done it a few times. Love me some KOTOR! Check out the new Total War trailers coming out of PAX in the last few days. Looks amazing!
  17. It's ok, let it all out. You're among friends here
  18. I LOVE using air support. I've also noticed the same behavior that Paper Tiger mentions. I normally don't pair my inf assaults with my heli runs that much though so I don't see it often. I only use area fire if I know there's tanks hanging out on the map otherwise I save the heli for direct targeting of individual units. Sometimes I'll use area fire with a light attack run in the hopes that he'll fire on a hidden enemy thus revealing their general position. I almost never have a heli engage a structure, I leave that to the tanks. I notice the helis sometimes come around for a second attack on a vehicle even after that crew has run away. Paying attention to this and manually ending the heli run will save a precious missile for later use. Phil, as far as I understand if you were using area fire and not direct on the buildings, the heli won't fire unless if can see the enemy firing themselves. If they're just hanging out and not doing anything then the heli won't engage. If you did a direct target then the heli will fire until the building is destroyed or they run out of ammo. I'm pretty sure enemy on roofs will be fired on when using area target though even if they're just sitting there. The ammo bars are frustrating. It took a while for me to pick up on what bar corresponds with that ammo type. I wish they's give it the same ammo screen as ever other unit n the game. 'CAAT Fight' was lots of fun BTW.
