  1. It is typical of the fact that you have not install the Cheux map (part 7) in the map directory.
  2. You need the typhoon from Knokke, or open the editor to change for another plane.
  3. Just finished the "Cheux incident". No problem ! Nice begining I noticed also some units without ammo, but not a problem. The campaign image not works for this map, probably because it has been deliver after the others. In the campaign.xml, I have found this for Cheux map. <Mission> <Number>0</Number> <SID>Cheux</SID> <Name>Cheux</Name> <Country>UK</Country> <Layer>briefing.mat</Layer> <Success>Bulldog1</Success> <Failed>Bulldog1</Failed> And there is no briefing.mat file, but there is one in the Cheux mission directory. But this file indicates the image breifing.tga, that is also in this directory. But it is a briefing map (512x512). I think it should be Campaign_banner3.tga ? Same for the second mission, Gavrus, no campaign image. The campaign file refear to briefing3.mat, and this file is not existing
  4. As far I can see in the file 'campaign', it is not fully linear But I think you need to select the option "don't take into account losses" or something like this ?
  5. Very good news It seems I have not found the "Cheux" map. So the first mission is not working for me
  6. I have noticed that you can improve FPS a lot with a delay about 10 000 ms rather than 1000 ms For the mission 6 of my campaign, which presented this kind of problem, I searched and changed in all triggers this value by something more than 5000
  7. It is done at 95%. The triggers that manage the "non linear part" work well. Then, it has to be fully tested before release !
  8. Here is my project of a non linear campaign, with the maps of Gnasher Here it is the briefing : [NLC.FullName] Non linear campaign - The Encirclement of Gavrus [NLC.Description] Our main objective is to encircle Gavrus, where there is a major german headquarter. If we succeed to destroy the HQ, all german troops in this area will be desorganized, and the war will finish quickly ! In order to do this, we have three combat groups. The first one will try to encircle Gavrus by the left. The second by the center, the third by the right. But they have first to fight against the first german line. All the the first three missions against the first line are simultaneously (in time). The fourth mission is the final attack on Gavrus. All the combat groups that have succeed to repulse the germans will participate to the final assault on Gavrus. The first group will enter by the left side of Gavrus, the second by the center, and the third by the right side. You have also one tank group and one para group. You can engage them to support whatever group (1-2 or 3) you want. But if you engage them in one of the first three missions, you will not abble to use them for the two other one, as they take place simultaneously. For the para group. They will be dropped ON the objective. But after that, they will continue by feet to Gavrus. If you don't use them during the first three missions, you will be able to drop them directly on Gavrus ! More information about the first german line : +The attack by the left side is probably the best way to approch Gavrus. +The attack by the center will also crush a small german tank force. If you dont't succeed this mission, the germans will probably be abble to launch a counter attack from Eterville to Gavrus. +The attack by the right side will enable us to deploy artillery on the hill 112. So you will be supported by artillery during the final attack on Gavrus. The best way to play this non linear campaign is to lose one of the first three missions. If you are a good player, try to play witout the tank group, or without the para group, or without both !!! At the end of each mission, you will see the "victory screen", whatever you win or you lose this mission. It is normal, because it is the only way to continue. But you will see the result on the last mission. [NLC01.FullName] Combat group A - Saint Aignan. [NLC01.Description] The first combat group will try to encircle Gavrus by the left. In order to do this, you have firstly to attack the through St Aignan. Take the small farm, and push back the germans. [NLC02.FullName] Combat group B - Eterville [NLC02.Description] The second combat group will try to attack Gavrus by the center. In order to do this, you have to attack the town of Eterville. A small german tank group have been spotted here. Be careful ! [NLC03.FullName] Combat group C - Hill 112 [NLC03.Description] The third combat group will try to encircle Gavrus by the right. This combat group have a second objective : You have to take the hill 112 in order to deploy our artillery. Thanks to this, you will have 105mm artillery support for the final attack on Gavrus. After the victory, the 105mm and his staff detachment will stay on this hill, while you will continue to encircle gavrus by the left. [NLC04.FullName] Assault final sur Gavrus [NLC04.Description] Your main objective ! Hope you have succed to encircle Gavrus. If you encircle Germans by three sides, they will probably surrender quickier !
  9. You can change the texture in the scenario. As Knokke said, if you choose an invalid texture, it will appear in yellow.
  10. +1 But I hope that it will included in the next JSH
  11. It is for modders only. Models are not finished, so it is not possible to install it without some work. Even the map are not finished
  12. Uchronic campaign - 1939/40. http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=85669
  13. Knokke, can't you send your map to Tartar, so perhaps he will see what is wrong with his map ?
  14. fine ! There is a problem in the link. Here is the image :
  15. You can try exactly this kind of things in some missions of the uchronic campaign (Dinant bridgehead for exemple). You have an headquarter on the map. If you send an officer in it, you can have reinforcement. If not, you will play without the reinforcement, but you will earn more exp. By this kind of triggers, you can ask simple question to the player. "If the player chooses to accept the tiger reinforcements from HQ" , in the case of the uchronic, it is not tiger, but french tanks I am on the way to finish a small no linear campaign. In each of the three first mission you can ask by the same way (sending an officer to the tank HQ or the paratroopers HQ) reinforcements (tanks or paratroopers or both). But as the first three missions are simultaneously, if you ask them for the first mission, it will not be availaible for the two others ! PS triggers for this are quite simple
  16. yes , multiplayer missions with computer instead of player can do this. The troops are randomly chosen by the computer, unless you decide otherwise. And the triggers that are used are the same than with battlegenerator
  17. It is not difficult to script this, need just time !
  18. Why not. To have just the buildings like in TOW 1 (ie you can't enter in them) could lead to have TOW 1 with the engine of TOW 2 ? It could be very interesting !
  19. I am trying to make a very small dynamic campaign, just to try and to see what it means (on TOW 1, but the two games work the same way). The three first missions are simultaneous (in game time of course). For each mission, you have one infantry group (+AT, reco...). You can choose to add a tank group and paratroopers. But if you do this, they of course won't be available for the two other missions. For the fourth mission, you have to take a town. The survivor of the first group is coming by the east, the second by the south and the last by the west. But only if they won the precedent mission. So you can lose one or two of the first three missions, and attack the town with only one group ! But sure it will be difficult... The greatest difficulty is to explain how it works
