I have lots of fun with it but getting tank sniped through a berm is no fun.
You know what I mean, absolutley no LOS to enemy unit...then bang! Your vehicle is a volcanic eruption on wheels and no idea how the shell was able to punch thru what looks like 10m of solid ground.
That is the main enjoyment killer for me.
I mostly play as the Syrians and really miss being able to top up on any equipment from IFV's.
I am sure I read it's a bug but the poor Syrian guys really are low on snacks and supplies.
And some more ammo to be honest. A few times syrian forces start the game with no bullets and nothing in the BMP or BTR to replenish.
Most rifle squads carry a RPG7 but only sagger teams carry one RPG18.
I got the graphics maxed out and get chuggy map syndrome only when I have lots of trees or tall yellow grass. Other than that...smooth. And I can read the name "Jones" on the US guys helmet.
Yup, Sagger 3 needs at least 500m to arm the missile and even then they are loathe to fire it as it has a huge launch signature.
I have only seen one being fired ever. It missed.
I find my troops approach a crest and get shot to pieces thru the top of the hill.
Conscript Militia armies are routed before they even see a US fire team as they try to reach a safe point to observe the reverse slope area.
It has not installed to the right directory.
Or that is what it sounds like to me...
Try reinstalling and manually plot the final destination of the patch?
Is it just me or are the proper constellations modelled?
Night battle and I am sure I spotted the plough, saucepan for the Yanks, and Orion...
Am I seeing things or have BFC included a real life star map?
I am still trying to find out if troops will pick up buddies weapons and equipment and share ammo with other squads.
Nothing in the manual describes it but other players have commented that it has happened.
There forum stated the patch will be available sometime today and that it will be available thru BFC forums as well.

I dunno about driving thru walls.... I don't have a driving license!
But...risk vs reward...you want a big hole in the wall...great, smash your tank into the wall et voila a nice rockery for the garden back home.....but you pay the price in the higher %chance of bogging or imobilization. You pays your money and you takes your chance.
All I know is that C2 is one of the reasons we cannot buy our own troops for QB. Pity really.
I would rather do away with C2 and choose my troops but that's just me...meh.
I never served in any army, I never went toe to track with enemy tanks...So what do I care about imaginary links of communication? I just want to have more fun than I already am having...greedy ain't I
He would do but CM:SF won't work on his machine due to paradox copyright thingy-majig. So I make him tons of little crappy scenarios to keep him happy.
