  1. Hokie Cokie? Left foot in, left foot out..shake it all about?
  2. Nope. Syrians get spotters without any guns to spot for. I have seen Arty sometimes available but it's very hit or miss....hur hur hur...gettit..hit or miss?........I'll get my coat...
  3. Playing against the AI in QB. Cannot get CM:SF to work on hubbies machine so it's solo play for me
  4. I think he means sound travelling on the wind lol I heard of troops "sniffing" out enemy patrols before and U-Boat watch crews could smell a convoy from the smoke stacks apparently....not so sure about that one..
  5. woooohoooo....lets hope paradox get there gears shifted on it too
  6. CMx2:WW2 will be a huge pull for me as well. More so than CM:SF and I am having great fun with CM:SF. oh oh I think I just pledged my soul to BFC for the next 4 years
  7. I for one have not even looked at the campaign...not interested in it. QB for me is the big pull.
  8. Your gonna miss out when it's patched... At least check it out further down the road?
  9. Surviving an explosion of the magnitude that the massive IED generates is somewhat....odd. Granted the vehicle will have some mine resistance but if you see the size of the blast these IED's produce then the Stryker just drives off as if nothing had happened....has to be a bug : I would hazard a guess that the vehicle would at LEAST be immobilized. Not just because the tyres blow out but structural damage to the drive shafts, gears, engine and possible suspension units. Maybe the oil filter might get burst too!
  10. For me the cool thing was watching an APFSDS shot punch thru a T62 and hit the ground on the opposite transfix of the trajectory. The tank blew up in a giant explosion which was nice to watch as well.
  11. While your at it can you look at the invulnerablity of strykers and Bradleys to IEDs? Got hit a few times with massive blasts and no damage at all to any part of the vehicle. Just a heads up.
  12. I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Oh Lordy Lordy it's coming!! The patch I mean ofc....
  13. It's good fun. Just make at least one of each type and then you can put the QB terrain on random. Just remember to give AI plans or they are redundant. I have a few scenarios...nothing special, made more for the map tbh but willing to compress and mail out if emails are provided. Don't be too critical tho, they are just knockabout matches.
  14. Way round it just now is make a heap of maps and script them with AI plans for attack and defence for either side.... Ok, it takes an afternoon making enough maps to keep you occupied but it's worth it.
  15. I have only ever handled an SA80 an an army open day so my combat experience is limited to chasing Meach to go do some dishes but even I understand there is a time and place to "hit the dirt" Troops have to crawl sometime? Meach told me his section corporal made his section crawl over gravel so many times they all had burst knuckles and skint knees.
