  2. I'm thinking you could actually make a module out of Russian Paratroopers in Texas, though I don't know how well that would end for said paratroopers, I like Vanir's CM: Insane in the Ukraine +1
  3. We should, but we have to remember we're dealing with the DOD. Nothing is ever that simple.
  4. +1 for co-op. Betting the farm doesn't make much business sense that's true, but if you really wanna test how loyal your customer base is.... you'd do it. Come on Steve.... do it.
  5. So your saying that a game (CMSF) that doesn't even contain the ability to cooperatively play is superior for training JUNIOR LEADERS and building teamwork amongst small units than an infantry simulation (vbs2) built from the ground up to be used as a cooperative trainer for numerous militaries around the world. Then you mention Brothers in Arms as superior as well? Dont know what you're on, but it must be good. The a.i. In vbs 2 is horrific.. no argument there, but the a.i. In shock force and BIA are also pretty horrific. There is no perfect solution but no other program offers the flexibility of the vbs system and heaven forbid there be a learning curve to anything. No I don't own stock in BIS. I just appreciate there software.
  6. Agreed the quick battle system in sf is very unpolished(read mostly unplayable). However Stag there were significant performance/ui and command improvements included in the newer titles that I'd also like to see incorporated into an update for cmsf. But it's all wishful thinking anyhow as they've moved on. CMSF II ftw.
  7. I thought we were going to do the typical Battlefront thing and post some videos and screenshots then wait a couple of weeks and do it again then release this baby, you fooled me, I never would've guessed August meant August 1st. Cheeky bastards.
  8. Dog fight. This happened in a QB, I was using the Americans and the AI had three Tigers it kept pretty bunched up, I ended up coming around the back of em but as you can see, it didn't come cheap. I had lost an additional 4 Shermans before reaching the Tigers position.
  9. This screen was grabbed at the end of a H2H battle, turns out my opponent parked one of his Challengers on my IED. Alas the triggerman didn't live long enough to set it off.
  10. Wargames is actually quite fun and not nearly as fast paced as some of you believe it is. It's up to 8 player simultaneous has a ton of factions and yes you actually have to take into account the terrain as you gain modifiers for certain types. I love combat mission and will play what actually happens to be quite a good game in wargames escalation. Don't knock it til you try it.
  11. Well thanks to Erwin the boards have diabetes now. Thanks Erwin and Merry Christmas to you all.
  12. I for one am happy to just have the damn things. Like pulling teeth around here to get foxholes added
  13. Nice mission Stag, anybody help you build the fighting positions around the mountains? Glad to see it was well received. Cheers Brosama.
  14. You could do GeorgeMC's Orlakov scenario. Features long range tank battles. Just make sure you start loading it when every body sits down for dinner as its a big one and takes a few minutes to load.
  15. My very, very, very, soon is obviously very, very, very, different from BFC's very, very, very, soon. 297
  16. Uh oh, looks like we're drawing the ire of the Peng challenge thread.
  17. Once the banana is thrown into the cage there's no telling what might happen. I imagine it'll get really quiet around here though.
  18. 10,000 views. Wow. That's almost half as much as the may status update and this thread hasn't even been alive for 5 hours yet.
  19. By god where did my F5 key go? Oh wait the numbers wore off. Back to refreshing.
