  2. If they're glider infantry, then yes, that's modeled as intended. I just checked, and airborne infantry wear the airborne uniform. The glider infantry uniform was just the standard Army field uniform.

(Okay, this time it's not because of a saved-game issue) Anyways, with the standard German uniform model, there's two issues with NCOs: (1) NCOs are not wearing the new NCO uniform texture (which is easily identified by the shoulder insignia) and (2) Unterfeldwebels are wearing Gefreiter sleeve insignia. That's the only uniform anomaly I've noticed so far. Otherwise, the uniform improvements look great.

  5. Yeah, I think this is what happened. I opened a fresh mission and sure enough, the cap texture was rendered properly. So, all seems to be good.

  7. Has anyone noticed a difference between the Standard and Panzergrenadier setting for PzG troops? I'm not seeing any difference at all.
  8. I just noticed that the standard German uniform has changed as well. Now, certain soldiers will have the Gefreiter insignia on their sleeve, though right now it isn't tied to rank. So, you'll see Unteroffizier's with Gefreiter sleeve insignia.
  9. Anti-magnetic mine paste. Which, as it turned out, was a waste, because the Allies never used hand-held magnetic AT mines.
  10. I think you're grossly underestimating how much effect the weight of all that ammo is when attempting to carry it. I've owned 900-round cases of live, military-surplus 7.92mm ammo, and they are very heavy. There is no way, like JonS said, you're going to get very far carrying 1800 rounds of ammo.
  11. I'm having an issue with the hotkeys as well, with them showing up in-game being assigned to things they aren't assigned to in the text file.
  12. If John can be so easily duped by frauds like Suvorov and Shortt, then it comes as no surprise to me that he believes this junk about other-worldly creatures. On that note, have you mailed your Christmas card to David Icke yet, John?
  13. Umm, no. The point of the quick-change barrel was to change it out when it got too hot, not when it was melted and thus useless to the MG crew. Changing out the barrel in this manner allowed it to cool and thus be swapped back in when the circumstances demanded it. Ok.
  14. It's not. It's the grossly-exaggerated accuracy that's the problem.
  15. I noticed that there is a separate uniform texture for German assault gun crewmen, with the red-trim shoulderboards appropriate for assault gun crews. However, in-game, they are wearing white (or pink?) waffenfarbe. Is this a bug or modeled as intended?

  19. So John, if you're this great and awesome slayer of reptilian creatures, why is a game like CMBN such a challenge for you. Truly if you are the l33t killer you make yourself out to be, such a game would be child's play, no?
